My bf and I are about to go on a trip. It was my idea, I organized it, he put his part of the money for flights and hotel.

Here comes the 1st issue: I'm an organizer and planner. I love to go on trips, do exciting activities - be that with friends or with him. He doesn't really organize anything besides taking me out for dinner. Sometimes it upsets me, but I try to get over it. I try to lean back too but then I feel we don't do many exciting things (I generally in life feel that if I don't propose, no-one will).

2nd issue: Our return flight got cancelled. His email was used for the reservation. I didn't know about it till I wondered today why I never got an email with our return tickets. Turns out he got the cancellation email in the beginning of November and never told me anything, in fact, never even opened the email. He assumed I got it too. I told him that if I would, I would've told him and discussed with him alternatives.

Now: I made clear to him that I am extremely disappointed and upset (by sheer luck the whole trip didn't get cancelled). I don't know how to procede with this: I love him, we've been together for 9 months, he's pretty masculine in his energy. Except for this organizing part. There I feel I have to behave like a mother and he acts like a disinterested and careless boy.

What hurt me even more is that when I got upset, I felt like he brushed his responsibility off and isn't really taking accountibility/apologizing.

Do you have any tips? I'm really sad and upset still.
