The only reason there’s outrage is because there’s court bias behind custody laws. Without such bias the gender or sex would be irrelevant and there would be nothing to be outraged over.

Apparently women get custody in Ecuador where this case is. Also the man says he’s not doing it to make fun of the queer community, just to help his children. The LGBTs denounced him and said the sex change wouldn’t help the case.

My instinct is the man isn’t acting maliciously and the LGBT activists are unjustifiably angry, but also the stunt isn’t necessarily effective.
