I am a man and that is so f'ing messed up on so many levels. Frankly, before redpill, I didn't even hear of this notion, and also I always thought older women have a certain charm and elegance to them, which is absent in the young ones. That coupled with their maturity, life experience and intelligence makes them insanely attractive to many, old and young.

Listen. There are certainly men who behave in the way that you described. Bad men. The kind of men you don't want. Avoid these men. You'll just get hurt.

A good man will love his woman when she's 20, and 30, and 40 and 50 and so on, so long as she too loves him.

Find a good man. Love him and care for him, and since he's good, he too will love you and care for you.

Not every man wants the young, 20 something model. Just be careful who you choose to love.

When a man tries to tell me some bullshit like this, I find they are just telling on themselves. Because, yes, there are people out there who aren't very loyal, who are pretty opportunistic, and who are just using people to get laid and they'll bounce as soon as the next opportunity presents itself. They come in both male and female (and non-binary) flavors. And some of them are waving around big red flags that look like making blanket statements about what "all men (or whichever gender)" are like. It's an excuse people to use to dismiss their own shitty behavior and lack of character, because if we pretend this is some biological mandate and not a personal preference or moral failing, then they don't have to take responsibility for being this way. I use both 'personal preference' and 'moral failing' because it really depends on your sale's pitch. A guy being honest about the fact that he's only interested in sleeping around and who has no interest in committing isn't being immoral, he's asking for what he wants. More power to him. The guy pretending he's interested in a commitment to get with you but then leaving the minute someone else wants to sleep with him is being a douchebag. But while this behavior exists, the only people making the claim that this is specific to men are those looking for some basis to justify their own inclinations and you can and should see that red flag for what it is. It's not some quality you share with roughly four billion other people, it's something personal and specific to you.

That being said there is always a risk, regardless of who you are with, that things don't work out. A lot of relationships succeed, but a lot of relationships fail, too. People fall out of love, they stop growing together as a couple, they stop getting along, people cheat, couples break down under the pressure of job stresses, depression, children...it happens. There's an old saying that there are only two love stories in the world: boy loses girl or girl loses boy. Which is a way of saying, play any relationship long enough and it will always end in heartbreak, even if that heartbreak is literally 'till death do us part'. So if what you're really looking for is a guarantee that no one ever leaves you, that nothing ever falls apart, you're out of luck. There's no signing up to play the game without guaranteeing that you'll get your heart broken now and again. I say all of this because I think that's what it feels true. All things that begin have to end and life is long. The chances of it happening to you are very, very high. But that's not the same thing as saying everyone is pulling a short-term con to leave you at the first available opportunity. You have to make peace with that nuance, I think.

I'm 43, my wife is 40, been together 13 years, would never leave her, ever. She's super hot to me because she is her. But even if she wasn't super hot to me, there are much more important things in my life now than sexual stimulation.

Also, I'll be real, young women feel like kids to me now. Like I'm a high school teacher, I don't see a huge difference between 20, 21 year olds and my students, some of which are 18. They're all just kids to me now, lol. No interest in hanging around people at a whole different stage of life than me.

Also neither of us want kids so I absolutely don't want to impregnate anyone, oof.

When most people age they will grow to be attracted to different things. If they have a partner unless there's drastic changes to that person's body they will likely grow to like some of the things that change about them.

I've personally seen this somewhat play out with women who give birth and have natural weight gain assoicated with the birth process. Almost every woman I've known who's gone through pregnancy has been very self-conscious about their body before, during, and after. Yet every time ive found that that man finds the weight gain cute and doesnt care too much. Thats because he loves her and his tastes can change depending on her.

I’ve always liked older women. Younger women come with the baggage of inexperience, immaturity and games. Not always but most of the time. I like being a one man one woman type of guy. Thanks to my mother (God rest her soul) I have a firm grip on commitment, I may not have matured in many other areas as guys who grow up without fathers typically do, but I have that from her and I am thankful for it.

Been with the same woman for 2.5 years without wavering. We are not together now, partially because she thinks I’m unfaithful, but anyone who has known me for any amount of time knows since I graduated from high school that I have been about monogamous relationships. I like being with one person. I feel ugly and disgusting just having been with more than one on the first place, and wish that my recent one was the only one I had ever been with. I think you need to look at actual relationships in the real world. Yes, some of them end, but some of them last an entire lifetime.

My grandmother died in her 80s. She had been married almost 60 years to the same man who adored her and he died shortly afterwards.

Look at the queen, she got married young and stayed with the same husband her entire life. Pretty sure if he'd been out impregnating other women there would have been tabloids reporting that.

How many marriages happen every year involving women who are over 40? Or even in their 50s+? It's certainly not zero. So some guys obviously want older women.

How many marriages end in divorce? It's certainly not 100% or even close, which is what you would expect if no relationships go for the long-term. So some relationships are long-term.

If you're dating a guy who only wants young girls he can impregnate, or who will cheat on you because you're getting older, go ahead and dump him. Find a better guy. They exist. Many men are looking for a long-term relationship just like you are.

No, that’s not the red pill. It’s saying that most if not ever guy, especially if they are very masculine. Will want multiple women now whether they can pull that off and they have a high enough status and leverage is the question. Guys have a loyalty to a woman that has their kits. The problem is what used to happen is the women will get with the men while they were very young 18 to 20 and they would start a family and the man because the women stayed during her prime in her younger years. He feels a duty, especially if you gave him multiple kids to stay in provide for that family when he is at his peak in his 30s and 40s. The problem is most women don’t do that nowadays and usually they are just getting someone who probably has a kid or two and has had her phon everywhere with lots of guys or at least over a decent amount, so why should a man be faithful to a older woman who is past her prime, when he is just entering his prime? Men have hangups about loyalty because they feel they should be loyal to that woman who birthed your child. Also, you are getting mixed up wanting many women with wanting someone to be your wife you can never by your self, satisfy a man’s appetite and less you are having bedroom fun multiple times a day every day. We want lots of women for sex, but we don’t want lots of women for a relationship. We usually only want one for a relationship. If you want someone who is faithful women can get that they just have to lower their standards and get with an average guy, but women want a high value guy.

Yeah that is most definitely not true. While it is true that most single guys would glady have sex with most women most is not anywhere close to all. A lot of people argue that if women weren't concern for their physical safety and were assured of having an orgasm most women would be like this too. It makes sense that this would make a large difference so the gendered difference in libido may not be as large as first appears. Also this is sexual attraction not romantic attraction. For most people sexual attraction is at least partially linked to romantic attraction and usually the longer a relationship goes on the stronger the link between the two. So people kind of become increasingly demisexual as time goes on in regards to thier partner at least. I think demisexual should be thought of as a spectrum rather than a black and white thing and most people are within the scale because few people want sex with a person they dislike. Also nearly everyone is at least partially demiromantic and probably a solid majority of people are mostly demiromantic ie personality matters more to them than something else like looks when it comes to romance. I see talk of leagues for either sex as unrealistic for this reason. I think I'm the real world things like leagues or always looking a hotter newer model etc are a small blip on the radar compared to all the people who don't see their romantic partnerships that way.
