Hey everyone, I (25M) have a major problem that I think some of you may be able to understand.

I always wanted true love and many parts of me still do, but I believe that in order to fully love a woman I need to be able to obviously trust her. Since I faced a significant amount of rejections from an early age I keep thinking that it may be a huge problem for me. My parents are each others first and that is what I always wanted but I feel like in this day and age it is next to impossible to have, and it really bothers me. To me, there is something special about being first, but FWB culture today makes 'sex' be basically transactional which I dislike heavily. People can do as they please, I just don't want to be a part of that culture. I know it's not everyone, but realizing the big chances of never feeling special or the memories of never having the chance to begin with are always there. I've been to therapy, 3 different times, it didn't help one bit. I think I need actual tools and solutions, simply talking is not enough and never was.

To clarify, I didn't have anyone myself, I am not a hypocrite on the matter, but I cannot 'unthink' this and it saddens me daily.
