Women seem to want to live in a world populated by women and gay-best-friend stereotypes with exactly two hyper-masculine lumberjacks to fight over the chance to be their man.

Depends. In the original Flying Circus ep it was "mama" but later versions, such as the "And now for something completely different" movie it's "papa"

"English guys are very restrained"
Isn't that what they were trained to be? Raised by women their entire childhood - mothers, babysitters, caregivers, teachers all with the same message, "The key to meeting girls is to be a doormat, white knight nice guy who respects women".
See all that anger on The Red Pill? It's almost always the same response, "We were lied to our whole lives". This thread is a textbook example.
OP .... well done my friend.
[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, as a trans-guy, I experience exactly this lie as well. "No is no" was taught to me at every corner, except my girlfriend complains that I stop immediately when she says no. "I want you to continue despite my protests," she says. I'm like - I can't read your mind! :T
[–]Aivias 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Two things come to me from your post
1) It shows why I have some empathy for incel dudes who are hurling abuse around their sub, they probably feel lied to, tricked, mislead by how every single media outlet, Hollywood and the women in their lives feeding them the "Just be nice, be yourself and she'll realise she likes you". Some of it is worse than others like how there are obviously mothers out there sabotaging their sons from having a fulfilling romantic life when they tell them this knowing full well it will not prove successfull
2) When more and more men are being raised solely by women and turning out to be maladjusted, more likely to go to prison and every serial killer ever, at what point can we openly discuss the societal harm this is doing?
[–]Rethgil 29 points30 points31 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Typical feminism; "I demand and want one thing...
But actually its bullshit and I really want the other.
Now go and figure out how to live in that paradoxical Schroedinger hypocrisy"!
[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
But if you act the way that they really want, you run the risk of not looking like how they want, hence they fall back on the previous claim and you're hauled off to jail.
Gotta admit, MGTOWs have a point when they say the only way to win is not to play.

Keep in mind this is the same Emma Watson who thinks it's sexism that she's appeared in more films directed by men than by women...with no awareness of the fact that she was the one who decided to take the roles.
She's parroting feminist talking points while displaying no understanding of them, no less adhering to them.

Its usually middle to upper class white women who are feminists. Its just a demographic fact.
There are far more upper middle class women who are white in America than there are upper middle class women of any other race, so I suspect you are guilty of the base rate fallacy.
Pretty much every upper middle class black woman in the BLM movement identifies as feminist. These days it's hard to find a university educated woman who doesn't.
Yeah, but I'd wager that pretty much every person in the BLM movement identifies as a feminist in general, since it's part of the whole SJW web of stupidity.

That's some pretty tortuous logic you employed there to try to deny established fact.
A syllogism of the worst most confused kind.
Right. Let's try again. What my post was highlighting was this.
More feminists are upper class than lower.
AND more feminists are white than any others
AND most feminists are white and ALSO middle class and so on than are non white and middle class

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
People aren’t really listening. Everyone does understand the difference between aggression and being bold. She even clarified what she means so people wouldn’t get the wrong impression. Aggression is let’s say , saying “you have to come on this date with me” and act further aggressively . Being bold is asking someone out on a date the first time you meet. Shy is when you wait 2 months to ask someone out. Please don’t suggest someone wants one extreme when they clearly state they don’t like either extreme. She clearly likes it when a guy asks her on a date right away without beating around the bush or demanding that she date them.
[–]fuckyoubanhappymods 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (55 children) | Copy Link

The larger point is that it is primarily women who drive this 'toxic masculinity' behavior in males. Without question, they are not attracted to men who are emotional, who are submissive, ask for permission for everything, who experimented sexually with other men, who aren't career oriented, who fail at being handy around the house, admit their fearful, etc, etc.
All these classes about teaching men how to be better feminists should come with a huge disclaimer: WARNING, YOU WILL BE UNFUCKABLE IF YOU FOLLOW THIS ADVICE
[–]Rethgil 20 points21 points22 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
primarily women who drive this 'toxic masculinity' behavior in males
This is rarely mentioned but totally true. Its why we're so sick of being targeted when feminists would achieve far more if they focused their fire on other women rather than disproportionately blaming men for everything.
[–]andalldaytodoit13 points 8 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
Keep going. Want to close the earnings gap? Really close it? Teach women to stop their punish/reward system based on the size of a man's wallet. Boom. Men will take the easier road that women do in .001 nanoseconds. Feminism should be furious at the concept of hypergamy, yet they strangely say nothing?
[–]wisty 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Or tell men to not hook up with a woman who won't pull her weight, financially speaking.
[–]notacrackheadofficer 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Cosmo, Glamour, Mademoiselle, and Elle teach women that men objectify them and make them wear attractive outfits and makeup, as the all female staffs exploit them and mix up the message that they are horrid in the natural state, and must buy many products to be presentable. ''How to control your man and make him your sex slave in 5 easy steps'', ''It's all his fault, here's how to teach him a lesson and make him your bitch''. They are also being given advice, firehosed at every supermarket checkout area, that leads to them being unfuckable, if they follow it.
[–]-manatease 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yup, I've said it before that their "toxic masculinity" hypothesis is merely a byproduct of "toxic femininity". Not that I'm comfortable with either of those terms, but that's the kind of language feminists feel free to use for some reason.
[–]qemist 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
they're
So? it's instinctive. Same as the male preference for women who are young and healthy. You may as well blame the sun for giving you cancer.
So?
So it's hypocritical to pressure men into being one way, then only date men who are not that way.
[–]qemist 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They dislike stereotypically masculine behavior only in low status males because that is threatening.
And the analogy they made about blaming the sun for cancer is more appropriate to feminists blaming men when they're happy to bask in the safe warm glow it provides and then whine about the few women who won't take personal responsibility for common sense precautions when they get burned as a result.
[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 8 years ago (41 children) | Copy Link
In the first statement she states that men shouldn't have to be aggressive.
The second statement she says that she won't date anyone who isn't aggressive.
So, while it's true they aren't totally contradictory, it just sends a totally contradictory message.
You don't have to be aggressive, but if you want to date, you better be.
[–]tetraourogallus 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's a synonym. Period. Every defense you've raised has been destroyed, and you still defend the indefensible

A synonym isn't necessarily a word that has the same meaning, it can be a word with a very similar meaning. While bold and aggressive are similar they are not the same and hence "Bold =/= aggressive" is correct.

since bold and aggressive are synonyms.
[–]Lokitus 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Aggressive sounds like you are attacking someone while Bold sounds like you are confident. They do not sound that alike.
Aggressive [uh-gres-iv] adjective characterized by or tending toward unprovoked offensives, attacks, invasions, or the like; militantly forward or menacing: “aggressive acts against a neighboring country.”
Bold [bohld] adjective, bold·er, bold·est. not hesitating or fearful in the face of actual or possible danger or rebuff; courageous and daring: “a bold hero.”
Aggressive:
pursuing one's aims and interests forcefully, sometimes unduly so.
Bold:
so confident as to suggest a lack of shame or modesty.
Any questions?
