I really hate all the 'women are in constant fear for their lives because of male violence' thing. I mean, guys need to be aware of violence too, you know. There's damn few of us who were the bully on the playground. There's always somebody bigger and meaner than us, too. The only difference is, if a female gets hit, people give a shit. If your life is really so limited by fear for your safety... you have a serious medical issue and you need to see a doctor.

I mean that. It's limiting your quality of life, and anxiety and persecutory delusions are both manageable with medication and counseling.

This is not to say "Oh, women are all just crazy" and dismiss them that way. This is a man who lives with mental illness, and who has male and female friends and family who live with mental illness saying "This person needs medical care if they are serious".

Or, if this is someone being inflammatory for the sake of being inflammatory (or earning social or political points, or trying to be funny)... then they are being obnoxious and deserve the criticism.

Right because if Men have a 9PM curfew the few percentage of men who are bad actors will totally obey it.

This works just as well as "Gun Free Zones" only those law abiding individuals will comply (the good men in this case) and the bad actors will ignore the rule and go right on ahead and do their thing.

Oh and know they'd be free to rape and pillage with far fewer witnesses, not to mention a much smaller risk of getting stopped by someone capable of fighting them.
