Here's the thing that doesn't seem to click with anyone --

We aren't your fucking therapists.

If someone deeply upsets you and talking to them hurts, you don't have to ever talk to them again. You are absolutely allowed to do whatever the fuck you want. Why do guys think they get to police how and if we communicate with them?

Why do they think that every pursuit made by them needs to have either a happy ending or a well thought out MLA cited essay over why they don't want to date or be your friend anymore.

People need to get used to the fact that some people in life just fall off the face of the earth.

We don't anybody anything. Not our touch. Not our looks. Not even our time of day.

Guys don't even blink at girls they don't find fuckable. Let alone respect their efforts of pursuit. They don't even notice when a chick tries to strike up a conversation. They just ignore them because they think they're not worth their time.

It also works the other way around. I'm so sick of hearing that people deserve 'closure'. Fuck you go create your own closure. That's not my job. I'm not put on this earth to live this stupid little life to take time out of my waking hours to tell you you're actually fucking creepy or annoying. You can figure that shit out on your own. I have things to do.

Do people not understand what the term 'cut off contact' means? It doesn't always mean you have to explain to that person that you're no longer talking to them.

Also, some guys don't understand that they're being ghosted for the sole reason that they're walking a fine line between communication and harassment. But most guys simply can't accept the fact that they're actually just not worth the effort it takes to text out the words 'I don't think we should be friends anymore'. Instead of opening a can of worms, just BURY the can of worms. It saves one hell of a mess.

Next time you think you don't want to continue communicating with someone, it is perfectly valid to block them and go about your life as if they never existed.
