I’m going to need some tough love on this rant / question.

I am a deeply emotional, sensitive, intuitive, fluid type Pisces, and I feel everything so bigly and deeply. When I am in romantic infatuation/love, I give myself deeply to my partner. I crave a romantic relationship where I am nurtured, admired, respected, doted on, seen, held, and loved. Because that’s how I love and how I need to be love! Someone who caresses my cheeks and plays with my hair and is happy to have long, deep personal conversations with me. Who supports my dreams and talents. Who doesn’t neg or cheat in any way (including porn viewing and emotional cheating). I just love love. Or the idea of love and romance. It is what my heart craves and desires and honestly motivated my actions for many years, and there’s so much misalignment in my life because of it missing.

I was in two situationships with LVM shitheads. I got so hurt. Then I changed my life and filled it with hobbies and interests, living it for me. But it still feels like somethings not right, my deepest desire not met.

I think societal conditioning combined with being a very loving and emotional person is why I’m like this. But I’ve also realized every man I have ever met ever is incapable of loving loving like this, whether it’s porn sickness or a lack of desire to, I’m not sure. I have met men that seem HV but who’s to say for sure.

If HVM exist, they are in short supply. I live in a small, shitty town and I’m not particularly good looking (average, can look nice when I try). I have my own place but no car. If they do exist, I don’t think I would necessarily have a shot because they are in high demand. Someone with more going for them (not just looks) would have a better chance.

It bothers me because I have great relationships with my family and friends and myself, improving - think on the inside I’m amazing. But these don’t satisfying me and that frustrates me.

Do you think finding a HVM is truly possible? Especially in a small town without dating apps (NOT going on those again). Also, are men able to love like women love? Is it time to let go of this desire for romantic love as an idle dream? And how does one truly do that? I know people say find hobbies and passions. I have so many of those that I’m involved in but I still feel...lacking.
