There is a huge outbreak of people coming out about their sexual abuse situations from the streaming service Twitch.tv at the moment, which may be where this stems from. It seems to be that female sexual abuse is usually accompanied by a pretty disturbing age gap. Not to say that the same doesn't happen with male sexual abuse, but it seems like males will abuse females their own age, whereas most of the stories that come out about female abuse is teachers/similar abusing their position to prey on young boys.
