I'm sure all of you have at least heard this a million times, either in the real world or in the feminist wilderness called Reddit. It's often said whenever the feminist comes into direct contact with brutal injustices that are male-specific, those injustices that are so loud, cut-throat, direct, and simple, and they just have no way to argue against them that they just said stupid shit like this.

I mean how stupid is this statement really? As if the world is made up of two groups of people separated by gender and have nothing to do with each other. As if the extreme concept of patriarchy in which men have all the power, makes sure to maintain and give that power to men only, and anything they do benefits men as gender first and foremost exists.

I am fairly certain that's a big projection from the women's side because they have a strong in-group bias and think that men do the same. A woman will 99% of the time favor helping another woman instead of a man, and a man will definitely also help the woman. Who helps the man who is down on his luck? Nobody.

There are a plethora of life-ending issues that are easily dismissed by this stupid idea and push all of the blame on men, but they're a bit contradictory. If you're going to never acknowledge the fact that the world is a messy interconnected web of relationships between individuals that are both men and women coupled with a confusing and complex set of factors that are biological, psychological, financial, social, cultural, and many other fancy words that end with L. If you're going to shame men for their issues, never offer help nor feel a shred of empathy, and perpetuate ideas that are harmful and kill millions of people a year then you should be also aware of the complete picture that is accepting that idea as factual.

In accepting that you should feel no guilt as an individual, as a woman, and as a feminist to the sorrow of men because some of it is caused by other men then you see men as a singular group which means that you should equally feel grateful to any man that you meet because the majority of life-saving medicine is made by men. You should give other men your phone whenever you're asked because it is their invention. You should feel thankful to any man because of the rights that you have because after all we're powerful and we gave you that so what are you complaining about? You should also never feel indignant about anything a man does to you because of all of the things other men have given you... I could go on and on but you get the gist.

Do you see how stupid this whole argument is? Because by saying, "Well, I don't care that men are the primary victims of homicide, war, this, and that because it is caused by other men", you change the entire framework by which we view society, but you only change it in that argument and afterward you continue with your own life in the complex framework that makes up human relationships.

As a relationship between two people is made up of the sum of the thoughts, feelings, and actions of both parties which makes the final flavor, or rather nature of how that relationship is an outcome of the two coming together so is the world where women make up half of the population. There is nothing in this world that is simply the result of only men 100%, unless of course, you're overly simplistic and approach the issue from a very superficial level without understanding the whole picture of what made all of that come into play. We are psychological creatures and are constantly influencing one another in both obvious and subtle forms. There isn't a single human being on this planet who exists entirely on their own, they are a product of their environment, their biology, their upbringing, their culture, their social conditioning, and so on much less an entire group.

Feminism always lacks nuance just like a vindictive person whose priority is not understanding but blame. Not fixing issues but highlighting how the other is terrible and how great they are. How the damsel in distress in movies and novels is an expression of misogyny and not a strong male fantasy that worships women and constantly seeks their validation in everything that they do.
