Ugly divorce in which she cheated and we have three kids together. She is ready to move her AP in to the house and, while I got 50/50 with the kids, I lost out on spousal support (She makes bank and I’m a teacher). Now, because of the way the dates line up, I have my son on his birthday weekend. She wants me to let her have a day of mine so she can throw an extravagant birthday party which I couldn’t afford. I’m taking him and his best friend to the arcade and dinner for his birthday but she wants to throw a big party on my time. Am I the asshole for saying no or do I give him up for a day to let her and her AP go overboard for a party?

Edit: She threw a big party for my oldest last spring while I took the other two and she wouldn’t even share video of it with me
