The one I had with my crush. It wasn't a real date because nothing happened afterwards, but me having the pleasure to take out my crush was the best feeling ever. It happened in 2012 and never had a date ever since.

Went on a date with a guy who told me Transylvania wasn't a real place. I figured he was kidding, but he wasn't. It's not a real place, apparently, because that's where Count Dracula lives and he's not a real person.

Unknown to me, she arranged to meet me in bar, where she was in a group that included an ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend. She switched to a different language when she spoke to me so they couldn't understand what we were saying. After they left, she took the bouncer's phone number, went dancing with me, and then fell asleep (snoring) on my lap at home, just after I had taken her bra off and was massaging her back.

I carried her to bed, took off her high-heels, and let her sleep it off till midday the next day. God could she snore!

Another woman did something similar: first date, took me to a bar. We were the only two people there, apart from the barman, who, it turned out, was her ex-husband and the father of her child. Pretty shitty considering there were only four bars in town, and I was a recent immigrant who didn't need to make any enemies just after arriving.

Another first date: met a woman 20 years younger than me for breakfast, then went on a bar crawl during which she told me about her two kids and life as a stripper. She make sure she paid her way. It was a date with finally someone who didn't care that i was short. It went well until i took off my hat. She was shocked that i was bald and compared me to her mother who has cancer. Then she started being distant.

It was in high school and it was like my second or third date ever.

Met a girl at model UN and we hit it off really well like 2-3 weeks before winter break. Coincidentally, we were both going to be in the UK (I lived in a South American country at the time) for that break.

Had our first date in London just walking around and doing touristy shit. London eye, St. James Park, etc. We were like 16-17 at the time. She became my first long-term gf.

it was our first long date after a week of dating. i met him downtown, and we went got mochi at his favorite spot, then went to my favorite restaurant for tacos. we ate and he took pictures of me (he’s a photographer and it made me feel special).

when we finished, we walked around the city for awhile, laughing and talking, window shopping. his eyes suddenly lit up and he told me, “i’ve got an idea, follow me.” he took me to the lobby of a building i’d never been in, we get in the elevator and went up and up til we got to … the 96th floor.

we step out into the most incredible lounge with the most beautiful view of the city i’ve ever seen. we hang out and order a water, just talking about anything and enjoying the view.

finally we leave, we walk to taco bell and grab food to go (an inside joke from when we were just friends). as were parting ways at the train station, he told me he loved me for the first time. i didn’t say it back then (it had only been a week) but i’ll never forget that date.

Binge drinking in the afternoon, then we decided to B&E a rival frat house; ended up with an eagle statue, a guitar, and a PlayStation.

Later that night we went to a house party, did lots of coke, I adopted a rabbit from a junkie, we hooked up in the kitchen, and then I tended to his injures after he got into two separate fist fights by the end of the night. 🥰🥰

I went on a date with a walking red flag woman. As soon as I arrived she asked me if my friend was my boyfriend he wasn’t. He had a boyfriend but apparently I’d been hanging out with him too much for her liking.
She went on to tell me she was the most intelligent person in her family, admitted she faked her accent, went on about how she was a fantastic runner and even if she’s injured she still runs faster than most people.
Then next morning (she was really hot) she wouldn’t leave my flat. She wanted me to cancel plans with my friend because she thought my friend was a bad influence. Eventually I ordered her an Uber because she had been acting like she was about to for an hour. I accidentally went “finally!” That offended her.

The next day she was sending me love songs but I had to break it to reject her and she didn’t accept that. She started quizzing me on why. Sending more love songs. I blocked her….

Then, months later I had matched with someone else and was chatting when they announced they knew her. I unblocked her and asked why she was telling random people about me and showing them my photo. She got angry at the person for swiping on me.

What a mess!

She took me to an Afro futuristic night at the planetarium. Followed by dinner and a gaming lounge.

Honestly, I had to stop myself from crying because it was the perfect date for my nerdy ass. It felt amazing to be so understood by someone. She planned it all without any input from me, which meant she really paid attention and cared.
