I once had a girlfriend tell me she liked me better when I drank. I was never a big drinker.

I had three drinks when I was next with her and could tell it was unsafe to drive home.

A woman that would encourage me to drink and drive an hour home is not a good person.

I dropped her immediately.

I was a lifelong addict, and after getting sober, had several girls say shit like "you ever notice how some people are way more fun on drugs, and become boring and insufferable after getting sober?" I really think they think this shit is funny. Meddling with people's minds, and playing incredibly shitty games. This is a big reason why I became celibate. They act awful then get all indignant when you give it right back to them. They can dish it, they just can't take it. Basically the definition of bullying behavior. Everyone loves when people act like that, right?

I've heard people say so-and-so drank himself to death. Are we talking drinking every day, and they die of liver cirrhosis, or is it alcohol poisoning, deleting themselves, or mixing alcohol with something else? I've known a few people who died young in weird circumstances and there's always rumors about this or that but usually the people who know don't really want to talk about it, but what does it actually look like?

Alcoholism is horrible. Nobody should be bullied if they choose not to drink. I have dealt with it all my life. Several alcoholics in my family. It’s a slippery slope. I have been called a wimp by many people of all genders. Drinking and not drinking should be equal choices.
