I have yet to make sense of how the conversation of “gender equality”, never seems to include men. It literally doesn’t make sense.

Advocacy for domestic violence, never includes men.

Awareness for sexual abuse, never includes men.

Policy for educational reform, never includes of boys.

Yup. ‘Equality’, through some weird-oxymoronic-twist, seems to have only one side.

Well.. at least, the ‘advocacy’ continually shouted across social media, or yelled in the street does.

For there are few placards for the 50,000,000 abused men in America.

Little talk about the one in twelve American men who will experience sexual violence in his life.

And a deafening silence for the 132 million boys now out of education worldwide, recently surpassing the girls.

And whilst the crumbs of compassion are kindly given – a few nice words about ‘men talking’, or ‘boys crying’ are appreciated – they are not the whole picture.

Men talking and boys crying is just one sentence in what needs to be an epic Tolkien-style-saga of change.

And that change, needs happen on both sides.

So tell me oh-so noble advocates for gender equality, and great guardians of morality; you spoke so bravely and proudly for women, but where is your voice for the other half of the gender divide?

Keep your ‘swinging the pendulum’, your ‘positive discrimination’, and ‘catching up exercises', and just tell us what do you actually want… is it equality, or revenge?

Because ‘equality for women’ is not ‘equality’.

As equality has two halves.

I can't help but think the 1-12 men being a victim of sexual assault is much worse than that. Especially if men don't even recognize that they can be sexually assaulted by a woman.

I was in an online meeting with major government transport organisation and they had the head of diversity and inclusion of ministry of transport on presenting for us!! Our CEO and all big shot HR were present. I came up with an idea and headed to Ask a Question section. There was an option to post question anonymously so I ticked it and roasted the heck out of them. For your info in Victoria Australia Ministry if transport allocated $36M over 5 years to send young employees in sub organisation to higher education for next wave of yount managers. There is only one problem. Only one gender can apply. You guessed it! Female.

So I posted several hard core, direct, hit questions and asked for explanation about hiw is it inclusive and where the F is the diversity i that. I also posted other hard questions regarding some disgustingly sexist agains men topics in the presentation.

Oh man the hell broke. The organisers were sweating crazy one passing to anothere to give an answer. One lady tried to give a BS generic answer that "we do understand that some may see these policies as reverse-discrimination but you need to take into account the historic events .....". Total BS. You wouldn't believe. The meeting was going to be for 1 hours and they closed it 45 min to run away and hide. I also posted that they deliberately didn't address my question and I see that as discrimination and I will use the recording of the meeting as evidence if I choose to persue further action.

It takes only a bit to show them that you care about your rights and they just go to hide crying. They know thatvthey are foll of BS. Just never confronted that's all.

A lot of these problems have the same root cause for men and women. It shouldn't be "men vs. women" it should be "everyone vs. the problem".

Dude I love your posts. This one is the best one I have seen of yours. It highlights one of the most glaring issues I have with modern feminism in Western culture. There are places on this planet that still need the extreme version is very much so needed. As feminism stands it is all about superiority over those in the out-group.

I am disgusted by the way men and other women are treated by abusive women and how accepted it is. I’ve known so many horrible women who abuse their spouses, kids, entire families emotionally, financially, physically and sexually and it is somehow different than when men do it to women. There’s no logical reason for it to be so and it lets controlling,violent and abusive women not only get away with their maladaptive behaviours but be praised for being “strong women” who “keep their man/kids/family in check” Abuse shelters should be for abused people, not abused genders. There are male and female perpetrators and male and female victims and this is the line that should divide support and services and nothing else.

My mother is one of the best feminists I’ve ever known because she actually wants both genders to be equal. She wants men and women to always be supported in issues like domestic abuse. She actually wants real equality and I have a lot of respect for that. I’m a guy and I’m very much for gender equality and I mean actual equality.

Either way women still get raped by men more than the other way around, why are you guys downplaying the seriousness of that fact. Based on statistics, if you were a women, you literally have a 20% chance of getting raped in your life. Just living with that fact in your mind can fuck anyone up. Men go through shit too, being a man myself I find it hard to open to others due to the fact many men are kind of taught to "toughen up". It's simple as just women get raped more than men, so stop trying to argue about rape, you guys really need to tackle another issue so we can really push equal rights.

Once you factor in prisons, men face more rape and sexual violence than women, men being the overwhelming majority of the prison population in every country in the world. As well as men being the majority of people who are forcibly institutionalized in mental asylums, which are basically another form of prison but with more pretense and justification. And accused of "mental illness" which is basically a way for the system to violently and coercively oppress us under the convenient pretense that we're the violent and unstable ones. (of course)

Only if you ignore the prison population does the picture seem that women have the greater issue with being potential victims of rape and sexual assault than men. Indeed, most people ignore the prison population, which is basically what prisons are for.

Trouble with the sexualy abused females is u cant beleive a word they say, also stats are bullshit, they are good for very strict conditions where there can absolutely be no doubt, otherwise these stats are utter wank. Not worth wiping my ass with.

Im far more likely to not believe them than believe them, usually they are allways saints in every situation, they cant do nothing wrong, cant accept any blame. More often than not they are lying thats why. The male stats i believe. Men dont lie about shit like that like women do.
