Hi everybody,

I am submitting this question to everbody because I see it as a natural extension of the intergender conflict that typifies these discussions and debates.

Long story short, I am reaching out to an old female professor for a letter of recommendation for law school, but I have a concern that she is going to ghost me. (Which is okay, but honestly professional/academic ostracism is worse than dating rejection)

I am using my situation as a case study in case it resonates with anyone else's experience/research. Despite my beliefs, I have made a conscious effort to give women in my personal life the benefit of the doubt, but I feel like I have been let down over and over again.

Unfortunately, my academic degree, professional career, and medical issues have exposed me to female dominated environments, and everytime I have been forced to reach out I feel like they don't take me seriously.

If I am being discriminated against, there is a good chance that its because of my medical problems, but I wanted to open this topic to the floor to see what you guys thought.

My personal belief is society does not care for broken men, but I am open to being wrong. I just feel that many women have an empathic blindspot when it comes to men's problems. (I am praying that I am wrong actually).

Anyways. Have at it.
