I want it give a small price of advice for a situation like this as hard as it is in the moment, I had something very similar happen to me about a decade ago.
This is the only way to 100% deal with such a situation if you can think and keep a level head. Act stunned roll you eyes up and go limp. Let yourself hit the ground yes it will hurt, yea it feels bad to exaggerate the situation but remember this person is escalating to physical violence with what where they had access too. Next time could be a kitchen knife or weapon and the narrative I had to protect myself from violence / domestic abuse comes out. But if your in a very public place and their is eye witness and camera hit the ground, act stunned stumble back down when some one helps you up. Act confused end question where you are. You will be medical checked out an ambulance will be called and everything is very documented. Now she is the one dealing with a charge or jail time no matter how little it May be and you know you won’t die to knife in the back one day.

Use the narrative, be stunned be confused in the moment be hurt and show the danger she is. She may get a slap on a wrist she may be detained but regardless now the law is actually on your side. Don’t claim amnesia or some long term thing unless it real after the fact state the facts. They was a violent outburst you were stuck and incapable to respond and ended up incapacitated due to the sudden lees of it after all who expect your partner to hurt you.

It worked for me and saved my life and most of my assets but not all and painted a very specific picture of the partner which required her to leave and abandon her social groups over due to shamming. To a women social rejection and isolation is far worse than any physical or financial recourse 99.9% of the time.

Also makes it almost 100% you will win a restraining order and she will be forced to leave if you cohabitate.

I’ve been hit by a couple of girlfriends and my Ex-wife. One girlfriend I told her I would press charges if she ever touched me like that again, I never heard from her again.

Context matters. At least according to what the video says, "once off the plane, the couple is met by airport security, but reportedly, refused to cooperate", so, that may not have even been the police, police / law enforcement may have never been called, most or all the witnesses were on the plane, the airport security personnel at the airport may have never witnessed what happened, and we don't know how much information airport security was/wasn't provided with when she/they were kicked off the plane (husband was reboarded, reportedly). They may have been provided as little info. as "woman being unruly on plane we're kicking her off" - and they may not have gotten more info. And, reportedly/apparently (hubby also) "refused to cooperate" - and if he's doing that, he's probably also not calling the police or pressing charges.

Not an ideal situation, but if abuse victim is unwilling to report it or press charges, and law enforcement didn't witness it, and possibly nobody else even reported it to law enforcement at all, well, how are you expecting charges to get filed? By who? Airline is probably just happy to get 'em (notably her, he didn't seem to be causing any problems, at least that can be seen from the video) off the plane, probably permanently ban her from that airline, and beyond that, really not their concern. And if hubby didn't report it, and maybe no witnesses on the plane did (shoving a video onto YouTube ain't the same as calling the police or filing a police report), well, not like somehow magically the police will know, and know who, and make an arrest or press charges.

And most passengers, etc., sure, witnesses, but they're generally goin' where they're going, and don't want additional hassles/delays, so probably unless someone(s) are calling for them to be witnesses, that's likely the end of it.

So ... quite different situation than if she were beating him up in front of the cops. Also quite different situation if he'd been significantly injured (he seemed to be physically okay ... and seems like he's used to putting up with this sh*t from her, ... though R.I.P laptop - but if the laptop is hers, who cares about her laptop). Also very different situation if he called the cops or made a report to the police, or if he even cooperated with airport security personnel and told the that she assaulted him and he wants the police.

So, context ... can't expect miracles out of police / law enforcement. If they're not even aware of what happened - they may not have been contacted at all - they're not exactly mind readers.

What would he do about it? The law certainly isn't on his side. As we've seen, video evidence just doesn't matter. If a woman is assaulting you physically, as a man you simple aren't allowed to defend yourself.

Also if they're cohabitating he probably can't afford to leave her, because as above, it doesn't matter what the reason a man leaves a woman for, he's paying a hefty financial price to do so.

Strange how in a patriarchal society its a women who has the right to violently assault her male partner with impunity.

This women was removed from the flight to preserve the safety of other passengers. Clearly the safety of her partner was not the issue, as he was allowed to return to an abusive space with a violent partner.

The sexist pigs who allowed this happen without charging the violent female perpetrator, are empowering womens violence.

This surprises you, there is a women here in the UK. Was a couple years back, in court for glassing a guy, permanent scarring. Also two assualt charges, AGAINST POLICE OFFICERS and an additional 14 assault charges all against men. Fine here, forced anger management counselling there. Suspended sentence, no elec tag, no prison sentence.

Her job as an estate agent had little to do with her getting off with it. Her being a 26 yo blonde gym bunny/ fuck bunny got her off, not to mention most judges are old men. Young men get maximum sentences for first offences, fuckable eye candy for the pervert old judgey get aww she's just an innocent girly, look at those genuine tears of remorse.
