Well, let’s look at a few of the stats they specifically mention as priving bias against women:

“40 percent feel that men make better business executives and that men have more right to a job when jobs are scarce.”

In other words a majority of respondents DON’T think men make better business executives.

“28 percent think it is justified for a man to beat his wife.”

So again, the majority of respondents don’t think it’s okay for a man to beat his wife.

One big problem is this survey doesn’t provide the opposite for context. How many people would answer women make better leaders? How many would argue it’s okay under some circumstances for a woman to strike her husband? Looking at only one side without comparing it to the alternative is not proof of bias.

Also, even if it isn’t equal, it doesn’t necessarily mean bias. Is it biased if people say the PGA is better than the LPGA, or is that simply an observation?

The questions are of course cherry picked. It of course ignores objective biases favoring women. It doesn’t mention objective biases like affirmative action, women owned business advantages, WEEA, women only healthcare benefits, colleges preferring women 2:1 in STEMs, etc. Rather than objectively look at actual practices of discrimination, this survey subjectively looks at cherry picked opinion information. One has to ask why.

Related, the UN has proven it’s bias against males on multiple occasions. If they are going to point out gender bias they should be pointing at themselves.

The article starts out framing the argument in terms of gender parity, but a lack of parity isn’t proof of bias. In fact when we see parity it’s often a result of introducing bias. (This is a very common flawed argument. Consider if I flip a coin 10 times, the odds are very much against getting a 50-50 ratio. A lack of parity isn’t proof of bias, far from it).

And while parity isn’t proof of discrimination, it’s again cherry picked. How about the fact there are more women now going to med school and law school, almost twice as many women going to college, more female psychologists, etc?

In short the data presented as proof of bias is itself biased.

P.S.: I don’t know for sure, but I bet the UN summary doesn’t accurately reflect the actual language used in the survey. I bet for example the 28% wife beating statement didn’t come from a question actually asking if wife beating was okay. I bet it came from a question that asked something like if striking a spouse was ever justified.

If we took this study as it is stated here this would mean:

Lets assume in this study that it's 100% of men biased against women as an example
By the laws of averages this would mean 60% of women are also biased against women too
Since around 50% of women identify as feminist we can assume this 50% contains the 40% of women who are not biased against women

Now if we look at this it means 20% of FEMINISTS are also BIASED against women too and this is just a minimum level.

Since we know not all men are biased against women then this assuming the study is correct means even more women are also biased against women

This means even more FEMINISTS are BIASED AGAINST women too than my initial example.

Then again it is the UN, one of the main establishment organisations of the world with their feminist biased agenda

This study is guaranteed to be false and just more feminist biased agenda pushing and more bias against men again

This could probably be rephrased based on the study as “90% of people have some level of bias in a singular specific way against women.”

Which means it doesn’t exactly prove most people are generally biased against women, detrimentally biased against women, or not more biased against men.

I don’t have any reason not to believe this.

But an important data point when anyone is talking about how men treat women. It’s not only men with the negative bias, it’s everyone. It’s not men vs women. It’s systematic inequality that’s perpetuated by all of us.

This isn’t true. I don’t have any evidence to refute it and obviously these studies were done by people more qualified than me but I reject it.
