I'm currently separated and my ex-wife was, to say the least, not the greatest person. I honestly don't know how I didn't see the red flags but I have a question about my current situation. So we were married for 7 months when she dropped the bombshell that she has been in love with her ex-boyfriend the whole duration of our relationship and although she didn't say it it's pretty obvious that they slept together.

So we signed a separation agreement and I let her keep the house because she did say she wanted to get $2,000 per month which doesn't make sense. I am not entitled to paying her anything according to the state I reside in, especially with the duration of our marriage but I am being nice and helping her out. She recently reached out to me and tried asking for more money in a situation where she's trying to take advantage of me. I will gladly send her money if she genuinely needs it but not just give her free money. I currently pay for her car and insurance but I'm thinking about not signing the final copy of the separation agreement unless it has been modified to say I only send her money if she needs it. I don't know if it would be evil to say that I won't send her any more money if she's simply going to just take advantage of my kindness. I just don't know what to do and need advice.
