I love going out alone. I can follow my hunches more and really “go for it” instead of having to explain to a wing or have them think or follow what I’m doing.

It also creates an element of mystery around you. The key is to make sure it’s not a mystery of you being creepy

Some of my best nights have been going out by myself! It'll be a bit nerve wracking at first, but just push yourself to talk with people and don't stand in the corner all night.

I travel all the time for work. There’s no way in hell I’m going to sit in a boring hotel room all night. So last week in Vancouver, BC I was exploring. Met the poster girl for /r/BustyPetite at the restaurant I was eating at. Next night we were out on a date that ended in my hotel.

Only reason that happened is because I went out alone. It’s always better than staying home as long as you’re willing to put yourself out there and have fun with it.

Unless you’re steaming on twitch and making boatloads of money, I’d stay home and play video games, other than that, live a little and see where the night takes you, alone (or maybe with someone you pick up unexpectedly)?

Depends on my budget and looking back at it, there's a lot of wasted money on nights out alone. Aside from that, its risky to be out by yourself. You could get plaid or conned into something. So be sure that where you go that you have some rapport with the establishment and that you aren't completely by yourself. Otherwise, it's not worth the risk over the long run, and you save your money.

I've gone out alone 2-3x a week for last 5 weeks. I've made a lot of friends and people are excited to see me come out. I also take pictures with a lot of people

It’s not sad, but going out yourself is hard, I’ve never done it but seen a lot of people who have. It’s better in my opinion of you can get some mates together and go out like maybe 3 to 5 of you or even just a wing man, it does help

Just do it with the intent to have a good time and chat up anybody you run into, not just attractive ladies; create good vibes and eventually you'll have fun regardless.

I had free night. It was raining, nobody knew was out. Was looking after daughter when there was a big night out.

Drove to regular bar in city. It was empty. Went to the casino play blackjack for 3hrs won $400. Had a couple of drinks. Chatted to people at table. Chatted with Thai woman got number. Went home.

Pretty good solo night.

I can 100% tell you that the nights I went out on my own were 100% more fun then the nights I decided to stay in and get high to play video games.
