Hon, like yourself first and be acceptable to yourself. Look up the 80/20 rule, which basically says 80% of your self-worth should come from you. You should like who you are. You should like how you look. You should like yourself. Only 20% of your worth should come from external things like praise, compliments and attention.

In the first place, there's just lots of bulshitters and window-shoppers online: men and women. They think they can go through with it but they can't or they're lying about who they are and so they won't meet you since then it will be obvious they're lying. That's probably most of it.

Beyond that, there may be something about how you see yourself that's causing a kind of negative feedback loop in who is attracted to you. Someone likes you --- there's no doubt of that. Someone in your sphere dreams and fantasizes about you. Maybe you're overlooking that person?

Depends on how attractive you are, and whether people see you as highly innocent. If you never flirt yourself or give anyone the impression you like them then people arent going to have any reason to engage with you. Being too attractive could be offputting to people as well, especially if you're not an openly warm person. Would have to see a pic to tell.

If you were really as attractive as people claim that either:

1 - you're really not that attractive.. and people are telling you you're attractive to get something off of you.. completely transactional relationship

2 - there's something really off putting about your personality that's overcomes your attractiveness.

That's really it it's either a or b..

The print media level women that I know don't have this problem.. in fact they tend to feel pretty lonely due to how other women treat them.. since she's a little quiet all the women assume she's stuck up in our nasty to her.. the guys fall all over themselves to try to be with her.. one friend had some 50-year-old guy offer to buy her a house "no strings"

Have you considered being more direct? As in actually approaching men you find attractive. Compliments from woman work really good as openers, talk for a bit, feel him out, and if you jive well, ask him out. As a man I love being approached by woman. I think you'll find initiative goes a long way. It sucks that you got cancelled on. . . But that's just a drop in the bucket. It happens to everyone, I don't take it personally. The more men you meet, the more likely you'll find a man you actually connect with.
