Last night, out at a bar, and my roommate introduced me to these three cute HBs (8, 8.5, 8.25), since he knows one of them. They went to the same church together. I just talked to the closest one, and it started off pleasant enough with the exchange of names.

And then she asked if I also went to the same church.

I said no. (decked a point)

Then I asked how they all knew each other. They all were volunteering at some woman's thing or another.

I asked what that was. (decked another point).

Then she asked if I volunteered.

I said I've done it before, but don't do it as often as I should as I'm working a lot. (decked another point).

By now, she's completely uninterested, and is turning away to talk to the other two. I need to learn how to redirect questions better. Instead of just answer them honestly.
