This is my first FR, so you'll have to go easy on me...

I was at a party with a few friends, HB6 and HB8 walk in. I made eye contact with the HB8, we both smiled and she looked away. However, I still have pretty bad AA, and I was in the middle of a game of beer pong, so I used that as an excuse to myself not to approach her. I told myself that I'd talk to her after the game, which of course didn't happen immediately because I chickened out..stupid, I know.

As the night went on, I noticed more and more guys talking to her, and eventually decided to say fuck it, I have nothing to lose. At this point it's already after the ball dropped, but I noticed she didn't kiss anyone at midnight. I invited her to be my partner in beer pong, which I figured I can get some kino in then. When she would make a cup, I'd high five her or give or a quick hug, which really helped speed things up.

After the game I told her I was going to go talk with my friends for a bit and I'd see her later. I went into the other room and sat on the couch with my friends, and shortly after she comes wandering in the room and stands next to me, so as I'm talking to my friends I put my arm around her waist and gently pull her onto my lap. My friends get up to go get a drink, so I turn her around and say "I should have done this a while ago", and go into a make out.

We ended up in the other room under a blanket and fooling around to end the night. No f-close, because she kept pushing away, we still had plenty of fun. Overall I'm pretty proud of myself for what I managed to accomplish.

We get to the party and the first thing the host says is "There are no single women here yet". Fuck. Went out in Philly with friends, opened a 3 set at a bar: HB7, HB6 and their guy friend. Made friends with all of them, started an in-joke that I was a master thief (I had a camera bag with me (long story) and they asked, so I told them it had my burglary tools), and left to go meet my friends again when the conversation started to wane, but I told them where we planned to be at midnight.

We actually bumped into them again before midnight, so I just introduced them to my group and they came along with us for the next hour or two until midnight. I have no one else to tell so I'll tell you all the story of my NYE. Some of you might think I'm an idiot, a part of me does too, but I'd rather be safe then extremely sorry. Note: I wouldn't consider myself a pua by a long shot, I've read some but it's not really a passion of mine.

Visited some friends in SD

Tips/ Things I Recommend

Get a new haircut. I've had the same shitty haircut for my whole life NYE was the first night I had my new look and I think it helped me look and feel confident, and get a few compliments from some girls (I've never gotten compliment about my hair before)
Go easy on the hard alcohol. I personally have set a 3 shot limit per night then its just beer/champagne for me. I know that I can control how drunk I am when I drink beer instead of being a blacked out mess.
Get out of your fucking head and just go for it. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK IT MATTERS WHAT YOU DO! just say fuck it and go for it.

1) Had to wing a friend, ended up distracting a HB6. The first thing she told me is: I have a bf don't even try. Chatted a little, the girl was playing really hard to get.
