I've come a LONG way from where I started 3 years ago when I first started to work on improving myself by reading How to Win Friends and Influence People. I discovered the seduction community around this time, but it didn't peak my interest until about 3 months ago.

I like to think that going from a high school heart break to reading self-development sparked my evolution from AFC 1.0 to Alpha 0.5, and the last 3 months of studying seduction material along with more self-development even more intensely is slowly and steadily bringing me closer to Alpha 1.0.

Where I'm at right now is trying to tackle neediness. I've noticed I have a really annoying insecurity. It's one I'm willing to bet most people have. Here it is:

When I know I'm going to be home alone for the night, I get really upset. I think about what other people are doing. I think deep down I should be going out, and I'm a loser for staying home.

The problem is I can't go out every night and being stuck at home is bound to happen. I'm working on going out as much as possible, but these moments can be really self-defeating.

How can you detach yourself from needing other people in your life, and enjoy time by yourself on nights plans fall through, or times there just isn't anything going on?
