I think a lot of guys take themselves too seriously. Others try too hard to force humor. Just be yourself. Be honest, but be courageous. You'll be surprised at the results.

Case in point--My last bar hookup happened on a night I was just out with friends not looking to hook up. I was just having fun and sat down next to her at the bar. Struck up a conversation, and she practically dragged me back to my place and into bed. Getting married in June.

I have a somewhat similar story. I was at the bars talking to a friend(female) and for some reason she mentioned that she would make out with any guy in the bar, except for me.

She had a valid reason. She didn't want to because she was friends with a girl that I had some history with. Well I was not just going to sit there, so I looked at her friend next to her, that I had just met, and asked her if she wanted to make out.

She thought about it for a second and then said okay. We go at then then pulls my face off for a second. She looks at me and says, I'll only keep doing this if we do it later too when my ex comes by. I agreed. We made out for a while, drank, danced, then made out when her ex came by and he tried not to notice. Ah college.

Yup. This Saturday I got a girl's number and I was being a complete retard the whole time. I told her I was 35 (I'm 24) and she didn't believe me at all, so I confessed. Then she mentioned that I looked like a bad boy, and I said "Yeah, and do you wanna know what makes me real bad?" and you could tell by her expression that she was definitely curious now, and then I said "I'm a rapist" and she laughed her ass off. I also told her my middle name was Anita. If the girl seems fun, just mess around with her.

Sometimes you can just grab her mid conversation and start making out without saying anything. It will give you an almost instant f-close or it will give you a great barometer on her resistance level.

This just goes to show that you shouldn't take everything so seriously about girls. If you find it funny, even if you have no intention of it working, fucking say it anyway. Maybe it will work.

I think this doesn't just demonstrate the value of not being serious.

Perhaps most importantly, it demonstrates the value of paying attention. If you are truly paying attention to the girl and the situation well enough, as in this case, appropriate "lines" will just spring to mind. If you hadn't been so savvy about the whole situation and her reaction to it, you probably wouldn't have had something so good to say at that time. (Compare with the guy who's in his head, wondering what to say or do, who misses the opportunity to say something like this because he's not paying attention.)

I think this situation also demonstrates the value of having the balls to trust your judgement when inspiration strikes like this.

Couldn't have said it any better, the point of all this is to BE CONFIDENT. Be confident in yourself and good will follow, at the end of a great 2nd date I had to drop her off at a station. We were talking and you could tell it was one of those moments, where you both stare at each other for a bit and so on. It's a little awkward in my car trying to move in for a kiss, and she might not have gotten the hint of what I was trying to do, so being confident in myself I figured "why not?" and straight up asked her if I could kiss her. She said "Yes!" right away and we kissed 3 times, I even made a joke out of it because she said she was chapped and I didn't care. She later told me that was really nice of me to ask and that she was nervous and excited, so for what it's worth, just do it bro.

Love lines like these. Was dancing with two girls once and a guy who was creeping them out tried to dance with us. They were obviously disgusted, so I told both of them that if they both kissed me he would back off. Proceeded to make out with both of them and the guy left right away. I use a variation of this that works very often. If/when i get bored of listening to a girl talk, or i can tell the convo is getting stale, I just say something completely ridiculous to put her off balance and make her stop talking, I wait a second, and then i just go in for the kiss. It doesn't always result in an F-close but i've also never been slapped/dragged out by a bouncer so i consider that a win.

right, one thing I've learned from /r/seduction / the PUA and self development community is that generally theirs no harm in trying. Once I texted this girl i work with to ask if she wanted to hang out and it indirectly lead to not one but two best friends that i likely wouldn't have if i never sent that text.
