I think you'll like this story, Seddit.

I went to an STD clinic today to get a test done. As I walk in the door I lock eyes with the receptionist. It is the kind of eye contact that builds sexual tension: long, intense and uninterrupted. Before we had spoken any words we both knew that we could never be just friends.

Eye contact can be vital to creating a sexually charged interaction. This is a skill that should be practiced. Look into one of her eyes intently. If she looks away she's probably either shy or uninterested. If she holds your gaze, she's probably confident and I'd consider it an indication of interest. Don't break eye contact. Let that tension build!

The receptionist turned out to be the medicine student who was going to take my blood work for the test. Yikes. So here I am, flirting with a young woman that knows I'm there because I might have an STD. I maintain frame and don't starting acting more timid. If you think about it this makes a lot of sense: most guys have had unprotected sex. The only difference between me and them is that atleast I'm the type of guy that cares enough to get himself tested. Nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever.

It's easy to let things that seem inappropriate become an insurmountable obstacle. But more often than not when you think about the situation later, there was really nothing to be worried about. Try to refrain from letting your mind being its own roadblock.

She and I banter about me having zero experience with needles and I bust her balls about calling me "sir". She's giggling and we're having fun. After she takes some of my blood, I look her in the eye and I ask when she gets off work.

Her: "In an hour"

Me: "You wanna grab some lunch?"

Her: "I don't think that's a good idea."

I don't pressure the matter and leave the clinic. On the way home I burst out laughing because hitting on a girl while she's testing you for STDs is one of the craziest things I've done. It's a good example of fearlessness and I'm glad I've become strong enough to pull the trigger even in what some would consider an inappropriate situation.

Being able to pull the trigger is hard but it's usually the male's responsibility to do so. Pull the fucking trigger or prepare to never see her again.

Hours later I arrive home and check out my Facebook. Guess who sent me a message saying: "You still feel like lunch?".

TLDR: Successfully hit on a medicine student while she was taking my bloodwork for an STD. Lesson: be fearless. Update July 25th: We met up and made out.
