Just a quick one. I was having a discussion with a date about Tinder. She said that out of all of the guys she'd been on dates with from Tinder I was the only one that actually made the process really easy and fun for her.

The reason is because I established a connection with her quickly, found some qualities I liked about her, and then asked her out. Simple.

She said, however, that pretty much every guy she's spoken to on Tinder seem to have a real hard part with the whole asking her out thing. They'll establish interest, connect a little, and even say outright they're interested in meeting but then... Nothing. They'll dance around the subject until the conversation gets stale and goes nowhere. In fact at one point she got so sick of it that she started asking THEM out.

Then she said this gem:

"If you feel like you can ask her out, you probably could've 4 messages ago."

So yeah, I'm just passing along that little bit of wisdom. Don't be afraid to ask a girl out ASAP, ESPECIALLY on Tinder when you both know you fancy the look of each other anyway.

Probably old news to a lot of you, but it's still interesting to hear it come from a girl.

Edit: For a bit of fun, I decided to look through the message exchanges prior to my last 8 successful Tinder dates and count how many messages were sent back and forth before asking her out on a date (and then getting her number).

The lowest was 9 (5 messages from me) and the highest was 15 (8 messages from me).

In those messages I was able to screen for personality traits in her I liked, connect on some fun stories, and suggest a day/time to meet.
