It means, has a stable job, has some money in savings, is not in crazy debt, has goals and prioritys, is able to take care of themselves, has their own place that isn't a total pig sty and depending on the girl, making more money than they are might be a bonus. It's not hard to achieve this, just prioritise what's important.

my thinking is that the women that say these things usually are dating dudes who are still maturing or they're bums. money is part of having one's shit together, but only part of it.

the best people to ask might be older women. i think how it goes is that young women start off dating dudes who are good looking or have status or drive a nice car or do something interesting like they're in a band. then the women age, their fantasies meets reality, and they realize that those above traits are not enough if the man is lacking in other departments, like having a stable job, control over finances, not living at home w/ parents (in america anyway), have purpose in life, able to follow through w/ commitments, no addictions or other dependencies.

Do you guys think it's possible to fill in this "have shit together box" if you have everything put together but are following an artistic dream? I would consider myself very mature and put together but I am pursuing jobs in the film industry, which can be every fickle. When I tell a girl this is she going to think I'm an impossible dreamer? Women are attracted to the whole package, not just tits like men are. In a lot of ways they are actually better than men, that are a lot more superficial. IT's also better for men, because if you are a guy that sucks in one department you can make for it in another department, unlike a woman who is just fucked if she is ugly.
