Hi everyone. I am a 22 year old senior in college. Like many in college I struggle with depression and anxiety and at times it can be quite severe. I obsess about my death/ health and find it hard to socialize most of the time as I feel chronically frustrated in most of my close relationships with friends/family.

Obviously these things are a breeding ground for depression and for several years my unhealthy mental habits contributed to the problems. I also used to objectify women to the point that I could barely interact with them.. Completely unhealthy I know and I honestly thought that this mindset would help me have more sex.

So here I am senior year in college and I have yet to have a fulfilling relationship/ sex. I have a couple close friends who are supportive, I go to therapy, I meditate/ workout and eat well. Physically I look attractive as I am muscular and my face is defined. However mentally I question whether I could have a relationship with a girl. My self esteem is low and what girl wants to be around a dude with chronic depression.

However, as a young man my sex drive is very strong. I quit watching porn about 2 months ago and after flatlining I finally feel like I am coming to a healthy point with viewing women.

Like I said before I cut myself off socially when I am feeling low. I recently quit my fraternity since I felt like I was not really connecting with the guys after 2 years. Sometimes I browse backpage in order look for escorts :/.

I tell myself that I need to get healthy before I start pursuing sex/ a relationship but it is hard to get my focus off of sex. I see beautiful girls walking around campus and then feel frustrated since I constantly self sabotage my chances.

I'm not sure how this post comes across.. hopefully not too needy. I am a genuinely good dude who wants to meet a girl that is what it comes down to. I have posted similar questions on reddit countless times throughout college, yet I have yet to make any major advances in this area of my life.. Advice?
