A big part of “woke” is identify politics, which of course includes the idea women should be advantaged and men disadvantaged.

It used to be feminism was the notable force driving discrimination against men, now it’s a much larger woke movement. For example they’ve long practiced affirmative action for women where I work under feminist pressure, but now under woke DEI, men are completely ineligible for consideration in top positions, some men being removed of their duties simply for being the wrong sex (and race).

Consider how Biden similarly announced that he would only consider minority women for VP and other key positions. Woke has taken discrimination against men to a higher level.

From what I’ve experienced one of the biggest issues is that they’ve gotten women to believe that nothing is their fault. When a woman underperforms or fails it’s the environments fault. And when men experience hardship and discrimination by society and women, they flip the blame and use blanket statements like toxic masculinity and patriarchy as an almost shield to protect themselves from being held accountable for misandry and sexism.

Another one I want to point out that often goes unnoticed is the gaslighting of men. I’ve seen countless women online spew out entire misandrist, discriminatory and generalizing statements on the internet, and when men get mad at it or call them out, they pull shit like “if it didn’t apply to you, you wouldn’t be offended.” Or “you can just say you hate women”. Like do they really expect us to take shit like this and NOT get mad? I mean what person in their right mind would allow such treatment towards their gender

Let me tell you a a history of my history in walmart. I worked at Walmart in a meat department, we had a woman who worked there too. She was paid the same as I was, however, I was expected to be the one to pick up all the cases and the heavy lifting stuff. In fact, I remember when I said I had enough of doing that, she turned to me and said, you gonna pick that up? I said no, you gonna do your job. And she went to managerment and managerment wrote me up and said I was being sexist.

Concretely for me, it has made me change my professional focus from what I studied in college. Now, granted, I made the mistake of studying at UCSC, but ultimately game design is so focused into that state and Washington and so tainted by woke hiring practices that I simply can't exist in AAA development without working much, much harder than I should.

For one thing, it's okay to sexualise and objectify men in media (big, beefy, muscly men with no shirts, or implied to be fully nude), for female viewers - but doing the same to women for the enjoyment of male viewers? That's horribly sexist and outdated!

Plus, the concept of men in media being strong, reliable, stoic, wise, and worth looking up to and admiring? That's sexist too now - men have to be portrayed as overly-emotional, weak, and incapable, with those former traits now given to women, even when it's not at all deserved.

Luke Skywalker used to see the good in his Sith father, not giving up at all - but in the sequels he sequestered himself to an unknown planet and had no hope at all. Rocky Balboa was known for always fighting against challenges, never giving up in the face of adversity - but nowadays doesn't see the point in fighting against illness.

Doctor Strange wasn't allowed to appear in WandaVision, as the idea that a strong, wise, experienced man teaching a woman is now unpalatable; women are so "strong" and "independent" the thought of receiving male aid is sickening to woke producers.

Honestly? The same problem the uber conservative left has: They refuse to have a coherent conversation.

The woke movement disallows uncomfortable conversations.

It's similar to a phrase: "Everyone loves science until it gets to debunking your personal brand of bullshit".

The only difference between the right and left is what kind of bullshit they prefer to swallow.

The left hates white people, men, anything rural, and truckers. The right strongly dislikes, if not hates, POC, women, and technology.

Why? Because life isn't fair and what has hurt them turns into a thing they dislike. Addressing those problems would mean losing your victimhood which might be bonded to your personality / identity.

For example - abortion. If it's about personal autonomy, like they claim it is, then financial autonomy for men should be something they are for. But they aren't. Why? Because "it's what's best for the baby" or "he made his choice when he had sex" -- now tell me, what do those comments sound like? If you guessed right-winger rhetoric - you'd be right. Funny how equality vanishes when it means you have to give up your privileges.

We see this with Ukraine - feminism stopped existed nearly instantly when Russia invaded and you don't see women fighting for their right to fight in that war, do you? You don't see Reddit all up in an uproar about it. They are mysteriously quiet about it.

Even Clinton said "women suffer most in war" - and they believe that. They truly and deeply believe it. Yet when offered for swapping - women fighting and men staying with children all of a sudden you aren't "manly". Equality does not exist for them.

When I say "both parties are similar" - this is what I mean. Only labels are different. They both hate groups and sexes.

Woke is a kind of corporate takeover, a cartel that exists perpendicular to the free market. Gillette doesn't have to worry about selling razors because you're not their customer anymore. The government is. Companies "sell" to government now, in order to be allowed the privilege to operate. Small business is killed, didn't hire enough females or whatever excuse you can find. This is online mostly. Men are rulers of the world and ultimately have the last say. It’s been like this for thousands of years and will be until the world implodes.

The woke movement just say things that don’t even make any sense. They use word salad sayings and the same old dumb propaganda/rhetoric.
