I’m generally described as a 6/10 Becky. I’m 5” 5” approximately 130 pounds and I work out often so a decent amount of that is healthy muscle. I’m not beefy but I’m not squishy either, I’m lightly toned. On top of that I have shoulder length chestnut hair that is thick and curly, somewhat large almond / Doe shaped brown eyes with a light bit a freckles. I don’t wear makeup much so at times I feel I look a bit dull, or plain but I’m not an eye sore without it. All of this is to say I’m cute but ordinary. Nothing special. I’m not “Stacy”. But I’m not unattractive when it comes to conventional standards.

But I was an ugly Mother fucker growing up. I had terribly crooked teeth, poor hygiene, clothes full of holes,at- home- kitchen-scissors bowl cut , and a penchant for playing in mud. I was a total weirdo. An anime lover, a video game fanatic, with severe ADHD. I had very few friends and my crushes were rarely ever reciprocal. I liked both girls and boys so some of that was just par for the course for young LGBT folks but a lot of it was because I was one ugly ass duckling. I was also eating disordered and it was needless to say, not a look. They called me the skeleton girl. I didn’t develop curves as fast as the other girls because of it. And my social skills were abysmal.

As an ugly duckling who went through a massive glow up after having braces and finally spending some time looking in the mirror, I still feel ugly and can’t relate to the treatment most Redditors insist girls like me experienced growing up. Of being wanted and adored. I wasn’t. I grew up an ugly weird ass misfit just like them and I’m frustrated that RPers act like this situation doesn’t exist. You can experience both ends of the spectrum. You’re not always born one way and destined to remain it. I was the gross kid no one wanted in school and as adult when people show interest in me it sort of baffles me.

Where do I fit in with all of this?
