I have been in the Pickup Community for years and winged with close to a hundred different dudes. Yeah, it is crazy. I have also read a few comments on this sub where guys say "oh yeah let me get a car so I can talk to girls" in a very sarcastic and snarky way or say "oh yeah, let me get my own apartment before I can even approach girls". For anyone in that situation, I have this piece of advice.

Oh yeah, fix your fucking life before you start "cold approaching" and talking to women.

I know guys will say "but I have a friend who doesn't have his shit together and gets laid". Alright, but you are not that guy. That guy probably has some insane sense of confidence that comes naturally to him and other personality traits that one cannot teach which allows him to get laid despite not having his shit together. Most guys, however, cannot pull that off.

In my years of cold approaching with a wingman, it has been painful to see dudes who are 30+ years old and still live with their parents in the suburbs but drive out 30 minutes to the mall in a big city so they can "take action". Dudes who cannot even afford to move out on their own or live with their roommates, still have their mom doing their chores for them in their late 20s, and somehow think that it is okay to spend most of their weekends doing "game".

Dude, you are a fucking loser. Seriously, no woman worth her salt or of any worth will ever want anything to do with you. You don't have your shit together. If you cannot even afford to live in the city with roommates or have full-time employment, then it makes no sense to go out on weekends and spam approach.

There is one exception to this rule

College and grad students. If you are going to college for a legitimate degree then fine, spend your weekends doing what college kids do. If you are in med school or a resident, then obviously you are on the right track.

However, I am talking about the guy who does not have his shit together. The guy who has no career or business that can bring him money. The guy who, despite being in that situation, thinks it makes sense to go out to clubs and cold approaching like a spammer loser on weekends. You are a loser.

And if you follow any of that black pill content and nonsense, you are an even bigger loser.

Here is a simple test to see if you should be doing cold approach or even spending much time on game.

Again, does not apply to college kids or grad students working towards a legitimate career but applies to everyone else.

1 - Can you live on your own or away from parents (with roommates)?

2 - Can you do the basics such as cleaning your place, laundry, cooking, and looking out for yourself?

3 - Do you have a source of income that allows you to do number 1?

4 - Do you have a career or business or some path to money where you know you will have money coming in? Again, lay offs happen but if you are an engineer or finance person, then you can always find another job. You have a career, that is good.

If you do not have that and are just some "NEET" living with your parents after the age of 25, do not worry about game, get your shit together.

It is a bit nuanced. One of my friends is an engineer that worked for Google, was a part of layoffs, and has been unemployed for over a month. However, he got a really good severance and has a lot of money in his bank account to where he can mess around for a bit. That being said, he is still interviewing for other jobs and getting some offers. His unemployment is different than that of a typical guy with no idea of what he wants to do with his life but thinks that his weekends are best spent spam approaching.

"Wait so what should I do to make money?"

This is not the sub for it and if you think that someone will just hand you an answer, you are a leech. If you bother to do the research on what jobs pay well and have stability, you will be able to find quite a few career paths. No one is going to give you a free hand out and step by step guide to run your life. Get off your ass, get your shit together, do the research, and start actually providing for yourself before you spam approach the streets.

Because let's face it, if mom is still doing your chores for you at 30 then you clearly cannot provide for yourself, how do you expect to provide for any woman?

And no, you are not some "alpha fuck" either.
