Firstly it is mostly men because men are still the ones mostly responsible for leading an interaction. There isn’t a long line of single women going up to hot/cute guys for their numbers instead they dress up and expect to be seduced by the man. The block women ones seems odd most of the advise I see is about how to get the girl to respond and matching her pace and not freaking out when you get no response. The ones to block are the ones throwing up massive red flags like trawling for ig followers or the entitled girls.

Lastly hitting on lots of girls is just a numbers game. When you walk down the street and see guys your age, how many do you think you could date based on their appearance. 1 in 10, 1 in 100, less?! Asking multiple girls out is so you can find the girl who puts you on her 1 in 100 list because if your not in that list you will get a no, regardless of your wit or charm. Now imagine the self esteem of the group of guys asking 2 girls out a month chances are 49 of them are going to have to wait until next month to find a girl and that is why they are on here looking for advise on the biggest question anyone has ever asked, what the hell is she thinking right now?

I am not saying OP here is wrong -- I'm just saying take whatever she says with a grain of salt.

Women don't know what it's like to walk in our shoes and they have 0 experience seducing women. Just -- bear that in mind. Anything they tell you is very abstract and based on 0 experience dealing with women as a man.

Whereas we.. on the other hand.. we fight in the trenches.

I don't think they mean it in the way you are framing it. I'm going to do my best to explain what I think they mean with that advice.

A lot of guys that are on here, don't have much experience with dating women, let alone talking to women, for one reason or another.

Some of the guys put women on a pedestal and view the situations in a way where, to even talk to a woman, is a feat. There are also some guys who look at these situations where it's like they are diving into a cold pool, and they kinda have push themselves in their mind, to be vulnerable, and to "take the chance".

For the "block a girl instantly if she doesn't reply in an hour or so" if you are one of those guys that had to push yourself to jump, you're falling, waiting to feel the cold pool (when the woman responds) the anticipation builds. You get so caught up thinking about the outcomes, that when it finally happens, when they finally respond, you text them "What took you so long, were you talking to your boyfriend?" or you say something equally stupid. << I believe this happens because guys get too attached to the outcome, rather than just connecting with them, chatting them up in a personal way, letting things flow however they are going to flow.

If you are having difficulties fixating, you have to desensitize yourself to the outcomes to be able to have just a natural conversation. It's something that a lot of women take for granted, men will approach you, you rarely have to approach men. Guys get shut down all of the time, woman get to choose. Guys develop self confidence issues because of this.

Please don't forget to be empathetic and don't just play the strong seductive man or whatever you are trying to achieve with these advices

Another common piece of advice presented on this sub is "Don't listen to women when it comes to getting women". So, yes, some of the advice is absurd, and it tends to objectify and cast women almost as the enemy. However, the advice about approaching as many as possible is not bad advice, but we always need to keep in mind we're all human beings, and are looking for similar things.

This sub's mainly for people who are trying to get out there, people who right now are playing the number game, there a lot more this sub has to offer, but you have to weed through a lot of the first half to get to it, this provides what the user demands, it's up to the user to decide what he want in life(atleast right now), I don't think this is a sub decicated to the bang and leave strategy, but like you mentioned it does put a lot of value on time, as everyone should.

Dating is very different for men and women. I'm not going to act like I know what it's like to get sexually harassed by men my whole life so don't act like you know what it's like to get rejected 100s of times a month. Or be alone for long stretches of time not because of personal choice but because of said rejections. If you think a man getting a decent girlfriend is as easy as a girl getting a decent boyfriend you are lost, my friend. The fact of the matter is women are valued more in society and especially in dating. They have more opportunities. Yes, some of the advice on the sub is bad, and I really mean misogynistic, but some are tried and true. A lot of it is teaching men to take women off the pedestal that we were brainwashed to believe they were on and to hold them accountable. There is a reason this sub is mostly men. There is a reason men need more help with women than vice versa.

A lot of guys on here don’t know the first thing about picking up women. What you’re saying is right for guys looking to get into LTR. There’s definitely a balance between macho and empathetic that a guy needs to maintain in order to keep a woman around but for a lot of the guys in this subreddit they’re just looking to seduce and get a quick lay.

I think the best advice is to stay cool and don't focus too much on getting someone or dating an specific person. Be yourself and someone will eventually like you. If it doesn't work out, move on, there isn't just that person in the world. Also, maturity helps a lot, know yourself first. But some advice for specific situations can help a lot identifying what whent wrong or how to do better next time.

Hi u/Survivingnthriving. Well this sub isn't exactly too high level to be honest. Most of the guys helping other guys out are just guys getting helped out by other guys, hehe. I agree that playing a role is a bad thing, but it can actually happen that what you learn from the community (well the overall one) ends up with you stopping to play roles, if you want so. Besides that, we have girls asking for advice, too, just not so many.

A lot of the advice to to eliminate the risk of a bad partner in the hopes of finding a propper gal for a guy who doesnt have the skills to deal with women without a walkthrough but they are good enough or we yell at them oftan enough that they become proper fathers. I for example think a man should only have 3-10 proper partners in their life and if they are from a proper family they should limit it to 1-5 and maybe remarry a few times. You get everyone on here farm lads like me and other folks that might end up as a proper senator or a priest to mad lads that know some guys are bred to be nothing but studs

Or is this another of many posts in which “all the advice sucks” and you just want attention. Look like any sub there’s good posts and bad posts, if you’re really interested in help then you habe to look through a couple of posts. Personally I’ve seen some great content here but I’m going to guess you saw a couple of bad posts and made up your mind.
