Okay I want to warn you guys that something looks really fishy here. John Anthony has been on a streak of flaming multiple PUA coaches, inevitably pissing them off and causing them to try to copyright his videos down. Note that OP literally made his account yesterday and has no previous history. Also, this post randomly got awarded with 30 different awards (presumably by the same person). If I had to guess, OP is one of the PUA coaches that got flamed and is trying to take John Anthony down.

Now, I'm not saying that everything about John Anthony is true. It's just that I have been following him for the past few years, and several forums and other coaches can attest to his skill. Not only that, but I would find it absurd that he would be faking infields/lays when all of his recent videos have been pointing out frauds. If there were real evidence that he is faking everything, then I would be convinced. Otherwise, I'm not seeing it

The other 10% is him speaking in monotone about things that never happened.

This guy and a few others are one of the reasons I try to stay away from the "PUA" community. There are some legitimate people out there and definitely some dating coaches have changed my life, but there is a lot of toxicity in the pua scene, unfortunately.

Take this as a hard learned lesson. I don’t want to generalize, I’m sure there’s some decent/competent/genuine coach out there, but giving money to someone whose only proofs are YouTube videos is a blind hazard.

Some theory from well established book authors, and a lot of practice in the real world is way more cheaper and effective. If you really want to throw/invest some money, you might want to look for professional counseling about confidence, life goals or similar. At least they’re certified professionals and will help you to work on yourself much better than a random self-claimed PUA

You know, Ive recently been focused on upping my game lately. These last few years Ive gained a lot of experience and been with some amazing women.

My idea is that I would rewatch all the top programs and pick a few that I can relisten to, in order to keep my mindset right and to keep me motivated.

In the beginning, I thought John's courses were solid enough but it has been a wake-up call. I have a high enough degree of social calibration now that I can see that large portions of John's infield is fake (Not all of it is, he has not completely given up).

But many of these girls in his videos have a screwed incentive bias. His approach will magically "hook" and the girl stays despite him driving himself into the ground and the girl giving no IOI (or shit-tests, yes a shit-test is actually an IOI)

But they just kinda sit there. I can only assume there was some pretalk and it's being played out as a skit.

Of course this is coming from some random guy on the internet so you don't have to trust me. Im writing this for those who will listen, because I have gotten those 10/10 "I will never be the same" level results. I know what it takes.

And John just doesn't have it.

I dont even have to look at his infield anymore to tell he is fake. His massive overcompensating/bragging behaviour is hallmark beta behaviour and he is LITERALLY projecting when he calls out all the other PUAs.

It's insane. I've never dealt with him personally like you have but I believe you. You get into this PUA stuff as a newbie and are too dumb to tell what is going on and who is lying, so someone like John's pulls you in with his flashy claims and fake infield.

But years later you realize, wow. His game is actually shit and yours is better than this guy you looked up to at one point.

I first came across one of John Anthony’s videos last night. It was a video where he was making fun of other pick-up artists as well as their girlfriends. He was putting down their girlfriends for how they appear etc and I must say… I have never seen a human being who was more vile than John Anthony.

I could barely get through the whole video… but I did. I recognized in that moment that I was watching a truly despicable human being. This is a man who not only attacked other PUAs, but he also attacked their girlfriends who did nothing to him. They just happened to get caught in the crossfire. Not only does John Anthony not care who he offends or hurts, he seemed to take pleasure in doing it in a way I have never seen before. I realized at that moment I was watching a sociopath with no empathy or remorse. I found the video to be educational in that way as I rarely see such a person. John Anthony could give the advice he wants to give without insulting people, but he doesn’t. The way he was talking about the women especially, it was clear he was trying to cause mental anguish. This is clearly a man who enjoys causing other people pain. One thing psychology has shown us is that people who enjoy causing other people pain are not happy themselves…

John Anthony is a fraud sure. But he most likely is a fraud in more ways than are being discussed on this thread. It is basic psychology that when you’re happy and content with your life, you want to spread that joy and make everyone you come into contact with happy as well. When someone has something negative to say about you… you will probably just let it go in one ear and out the other. When you’re unhappy with your life however, you tend let small things upset you. John Anthony gets so upset at the smallest criticisms that he not only makes video responses to them, but he even comes on threads like this to defend himself. One might even suggest that he talks about other PUAs to bring attention to his own channel. Have you noticed many of the PUAs he talks about has more subscribers than he does? Do you see people like Corey Wayne doing that? No… he just continues with his own businesses.

When faced with criticism, John Anthony feels the need to remind everyone how many women he has slept with. This is a sign that his ego has been damaged. This is a sign he is not the alpha male he claims to be. His image is very important to him. He cares what other people think of him. That being said… he has to defend himself where as a real alpha would realize these criticisms are beneath him and wouldn’t give them much attention.

When a Narcissist’s ego gets damaged, phycologists refer to this as “Narcissistic Injury”. When a Narcissist gets insulted, they take it harder than most people. And when a Narcissist suffers Narcissistic injury… he must have revenge. This is often the result of what psychologists refer to as “Narcissistic Rage”. The Narcissist becomes filled with so much rage… they need to respond and inflict damage on the individual or individuals who damaged their ego. They cannot rest until they do and will often lay awake at night thinking of ways they can get their revenge. Narcissists are miserable but often need to convince others they are happy and successful. If you try to expose them as being miserable… which they are, you will face retaliation. There have even been cases where Narcissists have even killed the targets of their rage… although it’s rare.

If John Anthony learned how to be kind to people (especially those who have done nothing wrong to him like those women), his life would be better and he would be more successful. Every human being we cross paths with is facing struggles we know nothing about which is why kindness is so important. John Anthony however probably does not understand the concept of “empathy”.

His channel seems to be more about feeding his own ego rather than helping others. Again… that’s why he needs to compare himself to other PUAs and remind everyone how many women he has been with. Most PUAs I have seen don't do this... rather, they focus on technique. If his channel was really about helping other… he would never talk about himself. Corey Wayne for example rarely talks about himself. That’s because his channel is not about him.

John Anthony is a very bad guy. I bet he has caused a lot of pain to people throughout his life. I would say it would eventually come back to bite him in the ass… but I think it already has. Every time he makes a video attacking others, he demonstrates how unhappy and unfulfilled he is in his own life. That being said… he is already getting what he deserves and will continue to get it. This is his punishment for causing pain to others…

I agree the John is definitely a sociopath. But I feel like his moral ambiguity is part of the appeal. In his product he’s not afraid to give “dark” tactics to get girls that may involve lying or bending the truth a little bit, but at the end of the day they work. I think it’s good to have the knowledge even if it’s not the type of stuff you’d actually do personally.

I was a bartender for about 12 years at a couple nightclubs. I knew some of my former coworkers who were just ridiculous at pickup and they were good-looking on top of that. John is creepy looking and skinny fat. The average woman isn't even going to look at him twice.

Here's my breakdown on cold approach PUA:

If you are the best pick-up artist out there and you have spectacular charisma, if you approach 100 attractive women, you might get 30 phone numbers. AT BEST.

From those 30 numbers, expect about half of them to actually get a convo with you, so 15.

If you're also excellent at text game, maybe you can meet up with 6 or 7 of these potentials for a drink or coffee.

Expect half of them to see you again and maybe one of them to sleep with you on the first date.

So potentially, out of every 100 women, you approach, if you're a great PUA, you might sleep with 3 or 4 of them.

By this measure, John would have to approach nearly 4000 women in his lifetime to get his numbers and not just any woman, he would have to seek out women who are above average which eliminates half of the female population. And that's only if he was great right out of the gate which he wasn't. So to be on the safe side, he would have had to approach at least 6000 women in his lifetime.

Let's say he's really efficient and he gets the answer (either interest or no interest) within 5 minutes. that's still 30,000 minutes of prequalifying.

Then he has to sort out 30 numbers per 100. The amount of time this shit takes is a full time job in itself. If this is all you did, you might be able to find, approach, talk to and get the numbers, then sort out 100 women a week. What the hell are you doing for a job to be able to go out and pay for drinks 5-7 times per week because that's something you're not getting around. That's expensive as hell. Trust me, you're gonna have to pay for drinks and John is not in the top 2% of handsome men, he's paying for these dates.

Then all that compounds if you keep it to 3 date minimums that AMS recommends.

So potentially you could waste 2 dates with a woman and never sleep with her. That costs money and time.

In short, John is either lying about his pick-up or he's seriously padded his number with prostitutes.

Because I know super attractive gay men who fuck every weekend and still haven't hit 1000 and it is easy as hell to get laid as a gay male if you're relatively decent looking and have a decent charisma.

In my opinion, unless you're in a band or some sort of rockstar and female groupies flock to you, as a normal dude, you're not going to punch above a body count of a few hundred in your lifetime and who the hell would want to?

This PUA shit is disturbing. Instead of teaching men how to find and deal with a quality partner, they teach them that somehow the amount of pussy you put your dick into is worth something. It's not.

The truth about sleeping with a lot of women is that you're nothing. You're a nobody, soon forgotten. You're a joke at the bar between female friends. And they forget you very quickly.

I know this because I've been that nothing. At nearly 42, my number is approaching triple digits and so what? I'm single with no kids. What did I accomplish? Nothing. Just about every coach I've seen peddling their services on here are sleazey and repeat the last thing they heard in order to pass it off as their own knowledge. 99% of coaches and "experts" are dorks who learned how to portray an image of "coolness" to fool other dorks out of money. Majority of the time, it's all about relishing in their newfound fame, having a circle of sycophants and ass-kissers praising them, and being seen as the "cool guy" they wish they were in high school.

One instance I've seen recently was a coach giving a half-assed bootcamp, being more concerned about livestreaming than helping out his student, who was justifiably getting pissed from the lack of attention.

Frankly, you can just read old FRs and guides from TofuTofu, try things out and get by. No sense dropping upwards of $5000 dollars for some random Joe Schmoe to spend a weekend telling you to effectively pan-handle for a date.

I don't believe in paying thousands of dollars to someone to help you get laid. There are plenty of books on amazon that teaches you how to approach and engage women in meaningful conversation and there are many videos on Youtube on this subject. PUA coaches are really preying on guys who have low self-esteem and are clueless in approaching females. Just do your own research and look for answers within yourself, when you do that you discover what your problems are and then you can start your own troubleshooting process in fixing the issues that are getting in the way and start doing things that are going to help you with women and in getting one.

I watched one of John Anthony's videos rebutting someone calling him fat. He did this by showing a photo of "someone" flexing and wearing a covid facemask, and stating this was him. He could have just taken his shirt off, and stood up from behind his desk. No-one could have argued with that, he could even have prepped like a body builder before a show to look his absolute best before recording. Yet he didn't, and instead insisted on showing a dubious photo. If he is dishonest about that, how can anything be taken seriously? He lives in Brazil, and regularly has his GF in shot poolside in a bikini yet never goes shirtless himself. How plausible is that?

Additionally, every time he does a "Rich Cooper is a fraud" video he always uses old photos of Cooper before the big beard. Various photos mind, so not just the one archive picture he has saved. Is he beard intimidated? Surely you would use the most easily recognised image, so people that didn't know or remember Cooper's name could be influenced. The unplugged alpha rebuttal video used a photo that you had to squint to recognise it as Cooper.
