This is coming from experience as someone who's followed a thread on a feminist site where we discussed a lot of the online drama surrounding traditional wives and the red pill.
Here, I'm going to address a lot of the claims they make, and why they frequently have contradictions and hypocrisy. I would love to see a subreddit in the future where feminists can debate red pill women.
"Women shouldn't have careers, they are meant to be at home cooking and cleaning."
This is a point I've even seen libertarians make when I was in a libertarian server a while back. I've heard people argue that biologically women's brains are wired for socializing and housework. I've heard people argue that women are not intelligent or responsible enough to manage their own money so they need a man to help them. I've heard a lot of arguments from emotion "Wouldn't you rather be napping in a hammock at home with your cute baby than at a career?"
It should be obvious that women are not a hivemind; some like to stay at home, and some like to work. And I 100% respect if a woman chooses to submit to her husband by choice. Here's where the contradiction part comes in: A lot of these traditional content creator women make insane amounts of money off book deals, social media influencing, "good housewife" courses, podcasts, etc. When I have replied to their tweets mentioning this, I get blocked. Why aren't they following their own advice and living off only their husband's money and asking his permission for pocket money?
Especially with the sheer, mouth frothing levels of hatred I see towards working women in these communities. A lot of people who know traditional housewife influencers say the same, that often they have nannies and cooks doing the housework/childcare while they make content shaming working moms. Which is ironic since tons of them are strongly anti-daycare/childcare.
"Look on body positive instagram accounts - those girls are rabid. They are angry, they post passive-aggressive quotes and surf the web for articles to be offended by."
(This quote was taken from the wiki of the red pill women sub)
Religion is one of my special interests. I love researching world religions, and I was looking at Bible quotes on Pinterest. And let me tell you something, for WEEKS. Passive aggressive quotes made by red pill women were flooding my feed. A lot of them were very disrespectful, smug, and went against both submissiveness and Christian values. A lot of them started with "Laaaaadddieees...(insert thing women are supposed to do here)" then ended with "#isaidwhatisaid *finger wagging emoji*"
And I see this in red pill women on twitter/X, when I've done my own studying and investigating from a neutral standpoint. Every 45 seconds they're tweeting angrily about some strawman caricature of a blue pilled fat feminist woman who's going to die alone. Which I must ask, if this feminist woman is so depressed and bitter and you're so happy.....why do you care?
A certain female red pill content creator made a series of videos where she complained about child free women. The comments were brutal. Calling women slobs, pigs, hippos, whales for not reproducing. Talking about beating women to death with rocks. I think the ironic part is the fact that this particular creator had a young daughter of her own, but was spending more time making around 7 different videos complaining about Chelsea Handler not having kids.
"Women need to look like ______"
I see SO much conflicting statements on this from red pill women it's not even funny. One the one hand you got the ones saying you should be all natural or else you are skanky and promiscuous and want male attention if you wear makeup. On the other hand you got the ones saying you need to bleach your hair and wear makeup and heels all day. This one's a confusing one.
One second I'll see a meme about how the "traditional woman vs the modern woman" and the traditional woman has "a beautiful makeup free face, and natural highlights from the sun" and then on the red pill women subreddit they're saying how you're frumpy if you're not in a full face of makeup and "making yourself presentable for a man". I give up on this one.
"_____ is easy and women have been doing it for thousands of years therefore they should shut up!"
Oh boy. I've seen this from red pill women who were easily able to lose the baby weight and had easy childbirths setting this standard for all women. Then a bunch of red pill men who know nothing about child development or childbirth will then back them up and comment how based they are and how more women should be like them.
Stuff like
"Childbirth didn't hurt for me, women need to stop being scared and lied to!"
or "I immediately lost all the baby weight, I owe it to my husband for providing for me!"
In short, life is really damn tough. I've been working with kids and families for years. Postpartum depression is a bitch. A lot of mentally ill women who've gotten it have ended up ending their lives or harming their child. In a lot of the people on the child free subreddit, they struggle with a lot of mental health issues/trauma, and it's perfectly reasonable they don't want kids.
A lot of these traditional women who claim to be empathetic and nurturing and know all about child rearing and feminity sure don't seem to know about any of those things.
"Feminist women die alone while we will be surrounded by grandkids!"
Y'know, even if you don't like feminist women, taking a weird creepy glee in someone "dying alone" and completely dehumanizing someone and portraying them as a monster who needs to be tortured...it shows a lot about someone's character.
And I can imagine if you're a child of a woman who thinks this way, you are going to need a lot of therapy in the long run.
Don't even get me started on the religious trauma aspect from the orthodox, mormon, and catholic traditional people. A lot of people who were raised with traditional values in these religions ended up traumatized and repressed, and cut off their parents.
In conclusion,
Let me know if there's anything I missed. I see a lot of these traditional marriages on the drama thread I followed become abusive or fall apart. I have no problem if a woman individually decides to submit to her husband. My issue is when they are being rich content creators who are practically breadwinners to their husband, yet lie to young girls.
