I watched her video, and in isolation, it doesn't seem that bad. There are chores she does and chores she doesn't do. Completely normal. I mean, shit, my wife is a SAHM and she sure as hell doesn't schedule my doctor's visits. She doesn't cook dinner every day of the week - I'll do it 3x/week because I'm a bomb-ass cook.

Then I watched a second video where she essentially calls all fathers self-absorbed assholes, citing a story of her friend who worked out at 5am while her husband wanted to work out at 5:30pm. Apparently because those are "prime childcare hours," he's a self-centered asshole. Then I read a comment from a woman:

Me watching this knowing my husband gets up at 4:30am to work out before he makes lunches and takes kids to school and I go to a 6pm yoga 👁️👄👁️

Surely everyone will tear into this woman for exhibiting exactly the selfish behavior described in the video, right? Right fellows?

After being married for around a decade I can confidently say that saying there is anything you wouldn't do is an invitation to lose your relationship.

Delegating hard line responsibilities will inevitably lead to friction eventually. There is literally nothing my wife hasn't done and nothing I haven't done. The idea that things are either her duty alone or my duty alone and fuck you it's your job not mine, is just a landmine you put into your own life.
