Separated last year November officially and she moved out the same time. Even though we just saw each other for 6 weeks during 2023. 39m, 35f ex. Married 2. Together an extra 5. No kids. No communication.

Divorce went through start of may.

———- I worked through all the emotions throughout the separation. When I heard from lawyers it was a bit tougher.

Once I heard the divorce date I was excited. Just before and after the divorce date it was a bit tougher. But now about a month out, I’m thinking more about her than ever since the separation.

Has anyone else gone through the same before?

Also, I’m not sad thinking about her. But I do things that we tried and wanted the last few years since we moved to a new country. And I’m doing them, having fun and then think “damn.this is what we wanted 2 years ago”.

… and, I’m in intense therapy and doing a lot of self growth and inner healing. Where I then think, “fuck, if I was in this mental state 3 or 4 years ago I would have handled the whole relationship differently”…

Just wondering if anyone else has gone through the same?
