Bars and nightclubs are a huge waste of time. Thoughts?

I used to hang with one of the best pick up artists in the world. He said the best thing any guy can do is to expand his social circle by doing things he enjoys. If you don’t have any hobbies, etc, it means you’re living a dull life.

Make your life full. Talk to everybody. You’ll never need to go back to a club ever again.

The bars/clubs are overrated.

You shouldn’t go for numbers specially in the clubs. Most women give their numbers to so many guys and most likely they won’t even be able to remember the face of any of them, let alone be excited about any.

You need to strike when the iron is hot, and that means going for the kiss and taking them home that same night when they are in a favorable emotional state.

If you text them next day/s, they won’t be in the same mood and it all will feel cold to them. Women go to those places to have adventures in the night, not to have a serious partner that they want to see again after the night ends.

I've had success at bars and clubs because when I go it's for me and to have a great time.

I go out to hang with friends and even solo but my goal is to have a good time and be social, not to hookup or anything but to simply listen to loud music and be social.

With that said when I see women I flirt, say hello but there's no explanation to get laid or make out,yet it happens. I don't drink nor have I ever bought a drink for anyone.

You're doing fine man like you said just go for the fun and if things happen let it be. A number doesn't matter I typically give them mine instead anyway.

Accept that bars are just what they are and there's always other things to do. Just make sure that it's thing is that you enjoy.

I’d take the club over constant field reports in here of dudes hitting on women at their gyms and jobs after staring at them for months or passport bros swearing that the 3rd world country they’re at has the best women in the world.

You are perfectly correct in terms of your assessment about cost and timing.

I go at 11 and I get only water. I hardly spend anything except paying the cover fee and tipping the bartender. I also don’t buy girls drinks unless we’re already deep in and I know I can get the pull.

Getting phone numbers is extremely easy. The fact you only got 1 is problematic because girls are giving the numbers out like candy. You aren’t closing enough. I’m able to get 2-3 phone numbers after talking to a girl for 15-20 minutes that I can take on a date the next day and I almost always bring someone home each time I went out. Close more. Way way more. When should you ask for a number? Much sooner than usual. Also, stop trying to stay until 1am and closing. Leave at 12. If you wait until the end, the girl’s girlfriends tend to start cockblocking. So if you’re still vibing and having fun, close and get out before the cockblocking happens.

In other words, clubs are only a waste of time if you have a skill issue.

Bars and nightclubs are a massive waste of time…until you find a good one. Find a crew with a great vibe and your night just became an adventure. Girls like adventures.

A few things right off the bat. 1. If the ratio is particularly out of whack, leave immediately. Don’t spend a dime in a place that can’t provide what you actually came for. If you’re in a city in the developed world, there are women turning up somewhere. Find them. 2. Bars tend to be grouped together in neighborhoods. Spend a night running down the area, scouting them out to find the ones worth being at when the vibe turns up. 3. Stop drinking so much, buy cheaper drinks, or make more money. Or find a crew that drinks and DD with them. Makes logistics easier anyway. You don’t need booze to talk to girls. That’s an illusion every guy would do well to rid himself of.

If none of this does anything for you, there are other places to find women. It’s just that there aren’t really any other places women go to be found.

Bars and clubs are ONLY good to go sarge at IF

You love going to bars and clubs and love bar/club chicks
You aren't comfortable there, and are trying to expand your comfort zone.
Bootcamps- lots of guys and need sets to open.

Other than that= I have NEVER met a chick I legit connected with, at a bar or club. Just ones for short term fun- which is low level

Agreed on all points, however I still recommend night game under specific conditions:

You have nothing better to do that night.
You want to improve your game with women who you haven't met yet. The upfront investment you get from meeting a date from an app is understated, it takes a lot of skill to get investment with someone who has a bunch of distractions and variables in nightgame.
You live in Vegas. There's something to be said about being in a club where most of the women are there on vacation, lots of wild things can happen.

That said, I'm constantly falling to situation 1. Sometimes its hard to get a fresh date on a weekend so that's what I do if not. Never drink at these clubs or just have one drink to put you in the mood and get water afterwards. Most of the legwork will be done finding places that actually have women to talk to.

I don’t know what you guys find all these sausage farm bars. I guess you only go to gay clubs. Here in NYC everywhere I go, the hot women outnumber the men. Of course, I go to classy places not some shitholes with ghetto ass people.

The good thing about the club is that approaching is seen as acceptable. Plus you can approach the girls in their late teens/early 20s which you can't consistently do in daygame because you can never tell if they are over 18 in the couple of seconds you have to do the approach. And the girls in the club are more attractive than most of the girls you see during the day time.

By all means you do not have to do nightgame, daygame and activities can be awesome. But, there absolutely are bars and nightclubs that are full of attractive women, you just need to find them and sometimes get some connections/plan to get some tickets in advance

I’m sure this is not a revolutionary idea…but I’ve come to the conclusion in my personal journey that bars and nightclubs are a bust if you want to meet women.

no where else has the concentration of correct age girls, many who are looking for a fun time and ready to hook up ..., you can escalate fast, and get SNL, much higher conversion rate that OLD , Daygame for most guys has a low success rate.

Despite attending various different venues, there seems to be way more men than women.

some venues are good, some are bad, work out which ones are good for pick up and do not waste time in the wrong ones. Should be common sense. find venues that you like and fit the vibe.

Drinks are EXPENSIVE. You can easily blow $100 a night.

if you are doing pick up , do not drink much, you get sloppy, its expensive and bad for health

I personally go out to just have a good time and dance to and enjoy music.

you can go out and have a good time but Not approach - go out to be social and have a good time, but be a social beast - flirt and approach women. bring Value and have people wanting to be around you. be socially magnetic.

But of the past….5-6 times I’ve gone out, I’ve only gotten one girl’s number that led to nothing.

this is more a reflection of you either not approaching, or not escalating.... for night life, go for same night lay first, then numbers, if they are flakey then you are not leaving enough of an impression - GET BETTER GAME.
