A lot is going to happen in the next 9-10 months. I moved into the spare room when we decided to “separate”. Live in the same house but worked mostly opposite schedules. You can make it work but the deeper into the divorce things go the more you will both will dislike each other. No matter how amicable things are, custody and division of debt and assets will change things. Don’t let her cover anything up if she’s being unfaithful. My ex tried and it blew up in her face but it set things back because it changed the dynamic of some of what she was contesting. This meant more time dragging things out while I was trying to move on with the kids and almost cost me the purchase of a new place to live. Focus on taking care of yourself and the kids.

You set boundaries.

Know this;

The only reason she came back is because it didn't work out staying at her sister's house and she wore out her welcome there, probably asking her sister to babysit while she went out on dates.

She is still talking to other men and when she goes out "to see friends" or "her sister", it is to go out on dates.

So you set boundaries. Your time is your time. Her time is her time. Spend time with your friends. Go out on dates if you want. Go to the bar if you like. Don't spend time at home when she's there. Have some fun.

It's going to be rough....I'd find activities that occupy your time and energy outside of the house when you aren't caring for the children. You don't have to go on dates with other women but letting her assume that you are may let her experience a bit of what she's doing to you. It won't fix anything but at least you won't feel so powerless.

Separate living spaces. Set her up in a spare room if you have one. Keep a lock on yours. Say and do as little as possible with her. Only topic should be care of the children. Might want to DNA test your kids to be sure they are yours. Should they prove not to be yours, life gets simpler for you and hers harder.

Also consider setting up discrete cameras within your home without her knowledge. False allegations of abuse are common and used to tip the balance of power in the favor of the spouse making them. Your lawyer can confirm.

The less you care the better. It will bother her sooner or later.

I ‘cohabitated’ for 2 months. It was living hell. I wouldn’t even wish it on the guy my wife was cheating on me with. It’s that bad.

I would change it to at fault divorce and take screenshots of everything being done. ( didn’t read other story so if done great) also consult your attorney on if you can get her out saying you dont feel safe etc.
