Not to completely wash off all the positives of being a feminist or a supporter of women, but for me, a former feminist activist, I lost all my enthusiasm for the movement when I did the reading and realized that I'm a leftist and anti-capitalist.

Because the only direction that these movements seem to be going is deeper into this gray capitalist system that we live under which in turn makes women and everyone more miserable, aka the women boss thing (it's not that I don't want women to be bosses, it's that I hate the concept of "the boss" in general)

Women are also a bigger consumer in the part of the system that is being used as a bandage to heal a wound caused by said system; therapy in it's current capitalistic form (not against therapy in general, it's great but it's not supposed to make your life more miserable and put you in debt.
