I have no clue what you are saying. But I can tell you one thing. Most men won't want anything serious with those types of women.

The majority of guys would fuck a sex worker. They might even "date them" for a little while. But they don't stay with them, and also almost never for a long time.

There are some that don't care. But those are the vast minority.

I think that "spiral of silenece" theory is more appropriate. "Virtue signaling" suggests that the person is not actually taking action. A person who happens to live in a specific way that garners social approval, and talks about it on the internet, is not virtue signaling.

So where are all the people who don't live like that? They're probably just not saying anything, because they know they'll be shit on for it. That's spiral of silence. That leaves the people who, while perhaps being truthful, are not representing the entire gamut of public opinion on a particular issue.

I was with you until you claimed most men would want to date an escort/sex workers or that many women have dabbled with that work. I think most women have thought about selling themselves but the barrier between thinking about it and actually doing it are still quite solid. Especially in the anglicised West. Despite all the talk about progressivism, unless you're in the most sex positive urban communities, most people (men and women) still treat sex workers as icky. Onlyfans has somewhat reduced the stigma...but only somewhat. Both my fiance and I have come across onlyfans creators, the one I knew has a boyfriend who was a cuck and the one my fiance knew was a girl who she claimed had barely any friends at school. Hardly the norm.

Most well adjusted people don't exist in a vacuum. They have social and familial circles and reputations to uphold within them. Many of those circles judge, even if it's just silently.

Also, women in the sex industry, I have known very few very sexy women who have never done at least one of the forms of the sex industry. They had a SD, got paid for dates/trips, did OF, there’s always something they did where a guy offered them enough and they tried it.

Nah, this just says a lot about the kind of women you're surrounding yourself with. I've done the same. I was involved in swinging and kink a few years ago and literally hooked up with a plethora of women....women who often were involved with sex work themselves. Whilst I definitely felt I learned a lot about women's raw sexual desire, you also had to remember that environment that allowed women to express themselves unabated was itself a simulation/caged zoo of sorts. Fact of the matter is society and civilisation have existed for the best part of 16000 years and the expectations, judgements and assumptions about feminity therein have existed too. Sure, in a sex club you may be free to find the biggest dicks on the buffest men you can find. But in the modern world of platonic and professional connections, women are often expected to engage more tact. And often with good reason, because ten times the guy with the biggest dick or best fuck game may not make the best longterm partner or the best person to present to your parents.

Women leveraging their sexuality for either monetary, social or even merely physical benefits are still, ultimately, the minority. Yes, I agree people virtue signal a lot online. Yes, a bunch of women claim they like dad bods when they don't. But that goes both ways. A lot of women claiming "sex work is real work" and that women reject guys for being too short are often bullshitting too. Because unabashedly going for whatever you desire takes a certain courage a lot of women don't have.

Let's be honest - a lot of these higher than though people (of all genders) haven't tried some form of sex work because they had opportunities or got to stay at home longer.

SWs all have a reason that they NEEDED to start working and not all are successful. The rich girl that decided to have an only fans is rare - that's why SWs are annoyed at actresses/musicians imitating us. I hope that makes sense!

Sure, there are people who could be described by sour grape situation, but it depends person to person. If people disagree with your views, it doesn't necessarily mean they do so, because they don't have an opportunity to practice what they disagree with.

To give you some not dating-related examples, some people practice veganism, not because they can't afford meat, but due to their ethical reasons. There are people who are into minimalism and/or reducing their consuming rates not because they can't buy more things, but because they want to practice their ethics or beliefs etc.

In the end of the day, it really depends on a person, their values and their upbringing. There's no shoe fitting them all. As you use your personal experience, I can bring up my own - I know both men and women who could easily score high numbers or "upgrade" their partners, but they choose not to, because they stick to their values and they value their connection and experience shared together more than a thrill of new relationship or casual sex. I could do sex work and make far more money than I make as a tutor, especially if I tired to cater to perverts. Or as an immigrant/refugee I could try seeking a relatively wealthy local guy instead of going through all the troubles of new immigrants with my husband. That's literally what a PPD guy here advised me to do! I choose not to, because it's outside of my values and I value my husband and what we have together more than financial comfort. I choose to struggle financially over betraying my partner or my values.

I've found sex work correlates more with financial desperation or a history of sexual abuse than looking good.

Umm... I think people truly do have different values. In a place like this, some values tend to be over-, or under-, represented. It would be better if we could stop judging people as much for these differences.
