Otherwise you need to talk more with them about what you two do for fun and build better comfort and attraction before asking to do that fun thing. Also understand many girls won't want to meet you because they just aren't into you.

Look, when you “reply” to someone’s story on IG, most people will feel obligated to also give you a good feedback, aka just being polite after something nice you did for them. But that doesn’t mean they’re interested or attracted to you.

This method (complimenting/commenting on someone’s IG to slowly asking her out) is poorly thought out. If I were you I wouldn’t do this. Just go to a dating site where all are in agreement it’s for dating, or do cold approaches out there in person.

Before you ask women on dates you should:

Make sure they're interested in you
Get them invested in the idea of meeting up in person

Since you aren't doing either of these, you are getting the "don't know you well enough". You're simply asking them out prematurely. You haven't built interest and you haven't gotten them invested in you or the idea of meeting you.

How do you know a woman is interested in you? She will begin asking you questions about yourself. If she's not asking you any questions, she's unlikely to be interested.

Once she's asking you questions - that's your cue that they're likely interested. At that point you should get them invested in the idea of meeting up. You don't just ask them if they want to meet up. That's jumping too fast forwards. Begin by asking them questions such as

- Have they ever met someone from Instagram before?
- What would a fun first date look like to them?
- Have they ever been to "insert cool café name here"?
- Which part of the city are they staying?

Etc. Get them invested in the idea of meeting up, and once they're invested that's when you actually pull the trigger and ask them to meet up. Make it seem like it was kinda their idea.

The things is though why would we meet up with some random dude? Instagram is not a dating app and you can’t expect to just slide into someone’s DMs, do absolutely nothing to interest them in wanting to get to know you and just expect them to give up their time to meet some random man who most likely doesn’t even have a profile picture. Women don’t owe you a whole date just because you decided to say hi to them. First piece of advice - online dating is garbage. Guys can confirm attraction based on a photograph but women cannot. Not even close to how human women have evolved to generate attraction.
