When it comes to abortion and reproductive rights, apparently it is completely fine to tell a man he "shouldn't have had sex if he didn't want the kid". The exact same thing that these same exact people get bent out of shape for when conservatives suggest the same for women. I've seen this so many times, the hypocrisy is astounding. To be clear, I'm fully pro abortion as it benefits both men and women.

abortion did and do benifit men as well in the sense they'd also be free from the responsability if the fetus was unwanted, so it's an operation that's medical and doable.

i don't see how there is a fix for male sexlessness the same way abortion is, and if there is a solution i don't think it can easily be compared to abortion because one is a medical procedure.

When abortion was illegal, there were far fewer sexless males. The reason is because women were not protected from the consequences of fornicating, so they would not risk it. As a result, they would have one male partner, their husbands. As a result, almost every male had a single lifelong partner.

And there are myriad other ways in which society has moved to create structures isolating women from the consequences of fornicating with men who have no interest in marrying them -- effectively forcing the men they turned down to pay for the child they bore to another man. It's a shame that even in a sub dedicated to men's rights, most men don't understand that it is not mothers, but fathers and the men in a society generally, who "ultimately bear the cost" of raising a child.

If these institutional protections were taken away from women, women would go back to behaving the way they behave in traditional cultures. It would simply be too costly for them to continue doing what they are doing presently.

Allowing women to have abortions is not the same as an incel. Abortions are so that women who arnt ready to undergo the pain of pregnancy and are unable to care for the baby dont need to suffer. Abortions could be the result of an accidental pregnancy. What abortions dont do, is magically make it so a woman is so unlikable that no one wants to have sex with them. If a man is an incel, its not because of unfair gender roles, its because theyre unlikeable for reasons likely around their personality or just that theyre not attractive to a certain woman. The same applies to women, and women who have bad personalities and arnt attractive also find it difficult to find someone who will have sex with them. There is no law that states a woman who hasnt had sex should be supported and vice versa for men too. This isnt misandry, youre bringing up two completely different topics.

Ultimately its a woman who needs to live with the consequences of pregnancy and childbirth... and both rape and accidents do happen, so someone should absolutely be able to make the choice to end a pregnancy if they so choose.

The more complex and nuanced part of the discussion is the idea of paternal abortion, essentially opting out of any responsibility for a child you don't want as a man. It's a far more complex argument as both sides raise meaningful and thoughtful ideas... (i.e. if a woman can choose to abort because she doesn't want to have the baby, should a man be able to opt out of responsibility for the baby if he doesn't want to have the baby)?

I don't know what the answer is for the second point... but certainly we shouldn't be regulating a woman's pregnancy and forcing her to carry a pregnancy she doesn't want.

Abortion rights I feel mostly exist because of r@pe. Where a woman wants to abstain but she is impregnated by force or even without her knowledge. There are sometimes where you gotta have a way to fix the damage that was already done.

I also think pregnancy concerns are one of the reasons why men can't have s3x. I mean, women should abstain, right ? So that means they shouldn't have intimacy with men. So that means men can't have women do intimacy with them.

Abortion is championed because sex is normal. So abortion is literally just the next step to irresponsible sex.

Incels are not considered normal. So instead of offering care or concern for them, they're just told not to be incels. You aren't allowed to live with yourself if nobody is willing to accept the position you're in. How pure is being a virgin man if it repels women? It isn't. Just like incels they need to rid themselves of the title to be considered normal.

As a society we attribute normal and abnormal to things that deserve attention or do not. If men are normally considered toxic, abusive etc, abnormal men are ignored even though they should be appreciated, and we redouble our efforts on addressing toxic masculinity... Making the men women supposedly want more of, look invisible.

The outlying school shooter or criminal is considered undeserving of thorough inspection because men are bad. It is considered a seed planted in all men and rather than address the problem in the room, we label that project as failure and continue our unsupervised and unregulated training of men while attributing the failure of these outlying men to all men. Instead of figuring out the problem and being proactive, we remain reactive.

There are some outlandish things women consider normal due to attempting to manifest them. Like 7 foot tall millionaires that are 20 years old... But for the sake of brevity, let's ignore those things.
