A while back, feminists loved to say "we'll talk about selective service when women get full combat rights."

And they did, and feminists said nothing. I actually argued with one in News who was against the draft in general, but refused to admit SS was harming men, or was even a gender issue.

And a common claim is that the draft was last used decades ago, so it doesn't count as oppression. Tad hypocritical when feminists regularly point to, oh, all of human history to claim women are oppressed.

Bottom line: Somehow, I doubt feminists are suddenly going to care about the draft now.

A male only draft is a complete violation of our 14th Amendment right to equal protection under the law. If they actually try to activate the draft, we should all register as conscientious objectors on those grounds.

there's already the selective service act this is a nothing burger. WW3 between super powers will rsult in MAD via nuclear barrage. conscription will fail. vietnam is the key example here. people don't like bs wars where you're off to die for corporations. that's why we went to an all volunteer force to begin with. there is no more crusade that can entice people to join like WW2. those days are gone. if we are to engage in a conventional war at all it will be drone wars and missile spams.

I served willingly. But when it comes to a draft women must fill combat rolls at exactly what the numbers say. So women are over half the population. They should be over half the combatants .
