Tips for breaking the touch barrier?

Get used to talking with gestures.

Get your hands out of your pockets, don't hang them on your sides or put them on your hips.

Have them in front of you when you have conversations and allow them to move as you express yourself.

You might start out with smaller gestures at first but they will naturally get bigger over time.

From there, it's a lot easier to give friendly touches to the shoulder, taps to the arm, soft squeezes to the hand, etc.

And the main thing is you don't think about it.

When I demonstrate this in person I show the difference between a creepy touch and a more natural one.

In the creepy one I exaggerate by staring at their shoulder for example as I slowly move my hand to touch it.

Another example of a creepy touch is when you have your hand on them and then you give it attention.

But then after demonstrating the creepy touches, I just touch the person I'm demonstrating on normally, without giving any attention to it and they're totally comfortable again.

So when you've gotten used to gesturing, go at your own pace, don't rush yourself into touching, the more comfortable you get with gesturing, the more touching will become a natural extension of that.

And allow yourself to develop the habit of touching everyone in conversation.

I'm sure you've seen people like that and I'm sure you've even talked to them and been totally comfortable with their touches.

That way, when someone can see that you're just like that with everyone and everyone is cool with it, they will be even more comfortable with your touch.

Also, since being touchy with everyone is your new normal, all you need to do when you're talking to a girl you're attracted to is act normal and she'll already be comfortable with your touch in the first minute.

Having these social touches very normalised and in place with every girl you talk to will make it exponentially easier to transition into the more romantic and sexual touches.

Combine it with emotional spikes. You tell a joke and you both laugh at the punch line, at that moment while you're laughing and looking into each other's eyes cup her shoulder from the side eye contact. You say something flirty? Lightly squeeze here hand. Do the same for connectkng moments and follow the kino ladder. Look it up. Shoulder,hand, elbow, upper arm, lower thigh, hip,lower back, upper thigh,neck, face, (semi private) lips, (fullprivacy) her breasts & nonobox. Slow down if she shows resistance, backpedaling, fear. The signs are subtle, not overt. Ie Verbally clamming up, looking away, double hand pats, etc.

Coach Kyle talks about this a bunch. Move your hands while you’re talking and just barely have your finger tip touch their shoulder or hand. Make it so subtle that it could be seen as an accident. But don’t bring attention to it. Then next time you do it for a hair longer and gradually escalate from there.

I start with friendly zones like the shoulders and if it’s not received I back off. If it is received then I feel it out and move to touching more intimate areas. If she’s into it she will open up.

One trick is to mention something that you've got photos of on your phone. Then you can stand or sit besides them, bodies touch, to show said pics. Is really usefull when you're sitting across her, and want to change that.
