I just hear all this context online about how men do not care about education or career when it comes to women. And I wish it was true because I have no degree and as a woman raised in a traditional and religious home I would be a good “house wife”

But all around me I’ve noticed the contrary.

Most men with university degrees date women who have the same level of education.

Wealthy business owners tend to date with woman who are either educated or have their own thing going on. Not necessarily someone who makes the same money as them. But someone who for example has their own job/business.

For example, my friend who had a small beauty business ended up marrying a wealthy real estate agent.

They both are business owners and somewhat successful. Not at the same level, obviously. Her business is a small thing but it’s functional and brings good revenue. Wouldn’t put her on the “wealthy” category but in a “higher than average income” one. Meanwhile he’s actually rich.

There are wealthy men out there dating girls on their twenties with no education or career. But they never get married. If anything it’s a transactional relationship.

I studied on a private school in a small town. So quite a few of my classmates ended up becoming wealthy. And I’ve just never seen any of them marrying or seriously dating a “traditional” girl. I’ve seen some of them date women with lower incomes. But they always had an education. Example: engineer with a high salary ended up with a tour guide in a local museum who writes articles about art history.

But I’ve never seen a wealthy man marrying the beautiful waitress. I’ve seen them marrying the teacher, writer, publisher who make the same wage as the waitress though.

So I was wondering, what are your experiences on this? And if there’s men in this sub, are you married or do you seen it as something common around you?
