Human biology has not changed so the principles of seduction are timeless (until genetic modification and chip/AI interface takes over)

But employers (women) are saturated with attention from online so the bar to compete in short term has risen. Also increased female independence means the bar for partnership has also risen.

Yeah, it's just a gradual shift to being more and more online in the early stages of dating. Not much else has changed. For reference, I'm 37. Dating has not changed much in the time I've been alive.

In my view- people often overestimate how much of it has changed. When you ask what has changed, they will say "dating apps made women more picky"... But trust me on this -> before dating-apps women were just as picky.

Depends on your age I guess. In my age social media are just a suggestion and not is not mandatory. I am getting to old for this sh*** to bother with the unsocial media. I was basically there when they emerged but was not assimilated by them like a bunch gen z people. Sometimes it is good to be a tad older (born 1985) it makes you more indifferent towards stupid stuff. But tech aside i really do not think that much as changed. The instincts and needs are the same as they used to be. The whole seduction world just a got a brand new coat of point. The fundementals are the same.

Nothing's changed. Whatever has worked for humanity is still working because guess what... humans still behave the same way they do 100 years ago.

What's different however, is the fact the Internet popped up, and we have to adapt our approach to "seducing". But the principles have always been the same. Social proof in real life is adapted to social proof via social media as well. Presenting yourself well now has a double approach to it - in real life and via photos. Learning how to vibe with someone now has the added faceless touch to it.

Where most people struggle, is the lack of social experience and the refusal to adapt to new technologies. The former is pretty obvious why, given the rise of social media.

With the latter, it's just one main factor that can make or break this journey of yours. Many of us still refuse to use social media to our advantage, with some even happily dying on this hill they stand on. This is also apparent with the whole narrative of "texting is only for setting up dates", which conveniently ignores the fact that everyone is 1, using the phone to connect with people these days and 2, everyone is stuck on their smartphones these days. And because this is the norm now, that means people are unlikely to change that habit for you. But as the saying goes, "adapt or die". If you cannot adapt, then... good luck to you on this journey. If you can however, then you'll find this journey won't be as difficult as you think it is.

It absolutely changed. People insisted on trying to oversimplify everything while shitting on everything that came before and now you have a younger generation rediscovering the old stuff thinking they're coming up with unique ideas and wondering why it's not being talked about more.

Ironically, this change benefit's older guys who already learned the older stuff because it isn't as hard to compete with younger guys now, and it sabotages the people who are just getting into this because learning the new, watered down stuff doesn't make much of a difference.

People think it’s changed but if you look carefully; the older guys have a much easier time time pulling girls than he younger ones, seduction has changed because the mindset has changed; people can’t take a NO nowadays whereas back then it would be OK ON TO THE NEXT kinda situation; there were no introverts and extroverts; there was just a need to get a girl and doing what had to be done to get her; the word simping didn’t exist, the internet wasn’t there so the playing field was even or slightly in men’s favor; now girls have 200 guys in DMs and guy are lucky to have ONE… yes the principles are the same but the people using them have changed and around 80 percent are unable to wield the basics effectively

Has driving to a supermarket changed? No. The technology many use has changed, but not the fundamentals of driving.

Now, those who market seduction advice will attempt to tell you that primal drives instilled in human beings have changed in 10 or 25 years, but nature doesn’t move that fast. Humans have come out of wars, famine, and plague basically the same as they went in.

Even the military, which invests months in “breaking down” recruits, does not succeed in effecting lifelong change in most trainees.

So, no. “Seduction” hasn’t changed in any meaningful way.

Of course, seduction is always changing. What fashion is popular now wasn't popular when the Game came out, what is popular now will be outdated in 5 years. Goes for all trends, not just clothes but also body types, occupation etc.

I think it has, but I think its more nuanced than people say.

I don't have any socials beside FB, and I've noticed that seduction is advertising now. Advertising your lifestyle, looks, wealth and status on Instagram is not the whole story, but it's a piece of the story now which is insane considering I can remember 20 years ago people would call you a nerd for even knowing how to type fast on a keyboard. Seduction has changed in the sense that you're always accessible and you are always showing off your best highlights as opposed to back in the day you had less chances to pull off your moves and had to hope for the best. So guys who understand this game have a massive advantage, and the guys who don't miss out.

But, the main principles of seduction haven't changed. You still need to work on your looks, inner game, personality whatever. Women's biology hasn't suddenly evolved in the last 20-30 years so being attractive is still exactly the same. It's just the means to seduce have changed.

Yes good question I’m 37 too been in the game forever and thank god I still look young so I can still pull 19 year olds.

I would say that the younger gen has way more info at their fingertips and are so aware of “millennial game” tactics like negging and cringe rsd jestermaxxing techniques and that the new game is just be fucking normal and a bit cocky and light hearted. But leave all the millennial game bs at the door!

A quick google search will show that hooking up is down and people are having sex less frequently across all age groups. So yes, seduction has changed despite what others in here are saying. Anecdotally I notice it and my friend groups notice it, granted I’m in Miami which is one of the hardest dating markets.

My personal take is women have become the primary seducers and deciders if a relationship moves forward. Putting yourself forward only gets you so far, all these seduction tips help but if ultimately the women doesn’t want to, she doesn’t want to and right now most don’t seem to want to
