This statement that’s become some sort of flagship message for many in the red pill and manosphere spaces pushes this idea that men are only desired for what they can provide for a woman. This is absolutely true if you as a man choose to get into a relationship with a woman from a transactional means. If your relationship is based on her being impressed with your career, your relationship earnings, expensive gifts etc than that’s what the foundation of your relationship will be. She’ll be in love with what you provide for her. However you want something deeper you’ll have to find someone who appreciates you for who you are as a person. Something that the red pill seems to ignore. So much focus is placed on superficial aspects rather than focusing on character development and bonding. If you want a truly happy long term relationship the latter is what you need to focus on developing.
