Next time she complains, simply tell her to pick one up and start learning. If she gives any excuse, any response more than a hearty “ok,” ignore it. She either truly wants to learn (unlikely, because she would have started herself already) or is just giving you a hard time.

However, this is a good lesson in how women respond to others’ achievement. A man sees another man’s achievement and is inspired - he sees Thor and says, “I want that, too!” and hits the gym. A woman sees another’s achievement and says, “omg i hate her”.
