I roll my eyes every time I read a profile that says "I'm looking for a chill, easy-going woman."

I'm neither dramatic nor unreasonable, and I'm a good partner, but I'm a wealthy, educated woman with a successful career. Do you think I got to this level in life by being "chill"? No. I did not.

Years ago I dated a "looking for a chill woman" guy for a couple of weeks. He seemed to mean laid back rather than low standards chill so I gave him a chance. I guess I ended up being too chill - he said I was a little too aloof/unemotional for him and that he wanted to stop dating. Fair enough. I was already thinking of breaking it off since our career ambitions were very different and he seemed to have way too much time on his hands, so I agreed. It was completely civil, but in hindsight this was more likely a bluff that he felt I called.

Fast forward about a week and I noticed him on my social media and deleted him. Almost everything he posted consisted of uninteresting memes, so it wasn't anything personal.

Well... He sent me a 4 paragraph, angry DM saying that deleting him was "hateful and dramatic." He suggested that I thought I was better than him and everyone else, and said that I would never find a man long term since going on 6 dates, me declining an invitation to his house once, and him getting "no action (not even a bj)" suggested that I was not in fact chill at all. I'd lied, I had tricked him, and I should stop telling people I was laid back or chill, because it was obvious that I was just an icy B. Really says a lot about what men imply when they say they want some one that is 'chill' & 'not stuck up."

I said "K" and blocked him. Men are crazy 😂

If men wanted low maintenance women, they’d date and marry low maintenance women. The reason they complain so much about high maintenance women is because they are the ones they date/marry.

Oh reminds me, I once had a guy who messaged me literally "omg you are so not like the other girls, you have an actual personality and you are attractive and tattooed which I am into, all those other girls are such stuck up bitches" After just reading my profile text. Checked out his profile, he was like some satanist dude, with a picture of his bare chest with newly made scars and blood all over it. Like BOY BYE! I never answered him, just blocked. And also he was slightly overweight, so it was this pale doughey body he was displaying.
