I'm asking here cause /r/fitness would delete this post and refer me to see a doctor. /u/stonepimpletilists recently commented about similar issue to mine

be able to squat/deadlift 2 plates consistently without hurting lower back, which is because of tight posterior chain currently.

I was doing squats at 190 pounds and it was easy (bulking) and then on 3rd rep of 4th set, twitch and my back is killing me! I finished the set, but skipped the 5th set and went to bench press. It wasn't hurting as bad after so I did 5 sets of rows then 3 more sets of paused bench press and called it a day. It went away the next evening but since then I'm scared of squatting heavy. I switched to 5x10 @145 then went back to 5x5 @185 last week but I'm not sure if I should push it to two plates anymore which was my goal. I currently weigh 160 pounds (5'9.) I'm thinking about just increasing the reps at lower weight, but from experience while I felt more burn in my legs after 5x10, I can feel more effect in my whole body after 5x5 at higher weight.

I have been focusing on proper form the last few months and I'm using adipowers while squatting which do help with stability. I don't know if I should get a back brace or see a doctor or try something else entirely. I mean with a doctor without current pain he will simply tell me to not lift as much, charge me $150 and send me on my way. I don't want to piss my money away.
